The majority of United's "possession" was passing it between the midfield and defence, a draw in that game was as good as win in terms of what we needed for the title, why would we force the issue? We had no need too, if United were more adventurous in possession the stat wouldn't have been close to that high, they were keeping ball for the sake of it most of the game.

To come out with a starting lineup featuring Ramires (likely on the right wing) in week 2 would be kind of sad really. Have a go at these bastards. I could understand playing it safe down the stretch last season but lay down the gauntlet ffs and challenge City the way every other visitor usually does at the Bridge.

I have a problem with Ramires in these games. Man City will be all over our midfield and our attacks on the counter have to be precise. Ramires is too erratic or irregular with his passing and his runs imo. I would actually go with Oscar itself - who is also erratic but he's much better than Ramires in tight spaces

I'm normally very positive about us against the big teams, but I have got my doubts on this one and I am very worried about the possible implications of a loss on Sunday. This week has been nothing short of cringe-worthy, both for Mourinho and the club. Yesterday in his PC he looked broken to me, he looked like a bloke that had just been dressed down by the military leader for not following protocol.

A bad week without touching a ball, City to come Sunday, I'm worried.

I agree that we should be flexible, I disagree that alot of people are saying that our team doesn't have enough firepower in them to play some attacking football.

Last season started with a bang and the team really impressed me. I understand that after December we had to play more defensive and just suffocate games but why not fix it ?

Mou had the whole summer (still some time left) and I don't see any progress. We regressed since last season based on the couple of games we played this summer.

Agree 100% we should have strengthened. Had I been in charge I would have signed R Rodriguez (to start at LB, Azpi to RB), Witsel/Aranguiz, Reus/Isco/Pogba/Griezmann/Bale.

What I disagree with is that it's Mourinho's fault. Have you heard how frustrated he's sounded in interviews and when asked about it? He's just as annoyed as the rest of us. The people stopping it are our board. Don't really know the reason; with the new Yokohama deal, the new TV deal and the new stadium apparently coming out of Abramovich's pocket we should have loads of money to spend and still be well within FFP.

But whoever is stopping it they obviously have a reason, and tbh our board have done so much good over the last 3 years I will personally offer them clemency after such a terrible summer if transfers, as long as this doesn't become a theme and we become the new arsenal.

but i feel that if we by lose by 2 to 3 goals of margin and I feel that Jose will just be about safe until December 2015/January 2016

if Begovic has a shocker like he did in pre-season, we will get destroyed.

What a difference a year makes . Last year we got our signings in early . We had TWO top keepers and then started the season like an Express.

This year has been a fiasco and I am fearing it could go from bad to badder to baddest to badass.

I have been getting more nervous with everyday jose &/or the board staying in denial of our actual needs passing. IMO keepers are not the reason for our worries tho. Begovic should be good enough. But our lack of options, solidty in midfield and tactical flexibility could be our downfall last season. We looked found out in the second half of last season already and nothing has change. Since Luiz left we have been unable to dominate or effectively play conter-attack in big games, too. Never properly replaced him as DM. Buying Falcao, baba, cuadrado while selling luiz, Bertrand has been complete bonkers. think about treading water. One or two impact signings and the world looks different , but as for now, it looks like games like the swansea one will be a pattern this season. No efficiency. If we lose tomorrow, I fear the psychological blow will be too big to recover as we are shit at chasing. Mourinho of course will play for the draw tomorrow. I desperately hope we somehow play our of our skins like in the city game in winter 2014 and somehow nick a win.

The only way any chance of humiliation happens is if they score early and our bus parking plan go out of the window, we push on and then leave lot more space for them to explore. But then again since it is Jose he will probably be happy if we are only 1-0 down by the 75th min and probably will bring on Mikel/Zouma if they don't start lol.

Dropping points tomorrow wont be so bad as it wont be to much of a shock I dont think..however doing the same against West Brom after then be shite and a bit hmm mm slight worry.See what happens and hopefully can get things going without any drama added on..and hopefully Hazard wont get diarrhoea...
