Yesterday was a pre-season match. Played with our B team in the first half. A number of fiorentina players would have got red cards if it was a proper match. Hazard looked absolutely disinterested, we played bertrand not ryan but traore as a LB.

Yeah you are older and wiser than most of us, relax and be more optimistic. Last summer's pre-season was not that good either, got battered by a mid table Bundesliga team, failed to beat an unknown Austrian team and struggled against other European minnows. And then we've ended the season on a high note. But I guess those performances have been overshadowed by the fact that Jose has signed a couple of world class players and we got excited by that and didn't care about the results. We will come good this season, I'm sure of it, this team has enough quality to defend the title. And at least two or three news players will arrive until the window shuts as well. I'm hoping for Stones, that Augsburg full back and a CM/RW.

Jose should rethink our formation. I know they say 4231 is the norm nowadays, but managers have gone to adapt formations depending on the opposition. Yesterday I was surprised to see Pep using 4-Diamond-1-1. Barca has always used 433. Try something else otherwise we shall be too predictable this season and we will get caught.

One thing that I feel is that if any point in time Matic has an injury or a suspension, we will get exposed big time. Matic is the most underrated player and he is the one who can push his abilities to the next level.

IIRC, Fabregas' suspension got reduced to one game, thus he's not actually suspended. He served it in the last game of last season.
