So much wrong with our performance so far. The midfield has been poor with cesc being the main culprit. Ramirez has been his useless headless chicken, Remy couldn't stay onside to save his life, hazard has been quiet and the teams overall play has has been lethargic and poor. William is aboitbthe only positive so far

Lol meltdown central in here because we're 1-0 down at HT!!!!

Baba suddenly becoming better than Azpi is my favourite comment so far, along with the mug who predicted that we'd be lucky to scrape 3rd this year xD.

You guys crack me up.

THIS A THOUSAND TIMES OVER. Well said mate!

Nothing to be overly concerned about, the boys grew into the game as it went on. Arsenal started the better and look slightly sharper than us, but we came right back into it with those two Ramires chances. Take off Remy for Falcao and I think we have a route back into this.

Pretty even overall. Totally blunt in attack, though.

Just look at Arsenal, though, when they get the ball around the box. They actually look like they have a plan and form triangles between themselves. We on the other hand look like we don't have a clue and are just hoping something happens.

the prejudice on here is so unbelievable, so fucking embarasssing.

cesc - atrocious

remy - awful

matic - poor

azpi - way off the pace.

hazard - invisible.

but since these are the darlings of the forum, not a word should be said.

yet people are targetting rambo who along with willian has been our best player. absolutely embrassing.

Can't face reality, Hazard is 3rd best player in the world according to people on here. Remy is good and will lead us to glory in the absence of Diego because he scored nearly 10 goals against mid table/relegation contender teams last season and at Newcastle/QPR. It is easier just go back to a scrapegoat like Ramires though.

Remy Seriously needs to go and sit. He's killed all our attacks so far. His loss of the ball from an offside position contributed to the goal.

Hazard has gone to sleep again. Why can't just play 90 minutes of soccer most times?

We have zero offense, with the exception of missed chances from Ramirez

Another proof of how shit we will continue to be in the big games without a proper midfielder.

I'm beginning to sound like a broken record.

And I miss Costas movement, he'll disrupt defenders so that Hazard can have space.

So far hazard is having the same impact as Sanchez, absent.

PSG all over again. Hazard having no influence at all, everyone here say he is the 3rd best player in the world, well those type of players break the deadlock in matches like this. Suarez, Messi, Ronaldo all done it. Most high profile games are not full of spaces for him to explore and make those great dribbling, so he needs to adapt to games like this.

He does, he drops deep calling for the ball. But alas.

Anyway. keep up the toxicity.

I've been impressed by Willian, Ivanovic and Ramires. Azpi looks physically, but not quite mentally, as sharp as usual. Unusual backing off from him for the Arsenal goal. But, as I said in my previous post, I've seen enough to think we have a superb shot of getting back into this.

Not as bad as people are making out. Fairly even game and their goal was a bit of 1 time out of 200 magic from the Ox. Get Falcao on for Remy at HT (or maybe on for Ramires and go 2 up top) as Remy has been struggling badly so far. Willian been stunning.

Arsenal keeping the spaces between the lines really tight. This is where the weak possession play hurts. This team can't handle it at all. But fair play to Arsenal, their positioning off the ball is really good. But it's still baffling how an elite team struggles so much possession wise. They're not even pressing relentlessly.

Probably need a set-piece goal to get back. Maybe some Hazard magic.
