I am ready to "get it on" Sunday at Wembley. I think the players are as prepared and fit as can be expected, except for Costa and Cahill at this point. I'll start the obligatory chain of questions:

Hate to be the downer on this, but have we seen the best of Costa in a Chelsea shirt? I only ask in the sense that is he permanently damaged from here on out with chronic hamstring issues? Keep in mind that he only played in 23 of the 38 PL matches last year. We basically won it down the stretch without him.

Gotta find some depth if we want to make a run in the UCL. CB (Stones?) and a Midfielder a must in my opinion.

I have seen enough of Moses to keep him and give him a shot off the bench. I have seen enough of Cuadrado to give him a shot in the starting XI......for an MLS squad.

This feels darn early. Only 3 preaseason games and like two weeks after our players return to training. But whatevs. This is a London Derby and should be treated like a cup final as it represents the first big game of the season.

I trust Remy on this one if Costa is not fit. We have a good chance of winning this, surely have enough practice of penalties but we should go for it in normal time. Arsenal are strong esp now they have a great goalie but we should still be a bit ahead.

Then team pretty much picks itself in the back 5. I am pretty sure though that José will sacrifice Oscar for Ramy or even Mikel as it is a big game. Once again the need for a decent, defensively astute cm is apparent.

Arsenal are in good pre-season form and scoring 4+ per game. It will be a difficult game for us and we need to be very disciplined and try to be error free and take our chances.

Both teams to score should be a good bet for this game..

Only joking, I want to beat Arsenal in any competition that we face them. Because I have a brother who is an Arsenal fan and he always manages to annoy me about them. Even when they're not playing well. So I wouldn't be able to take it if we were to lose this or any game to them.
