Confirmed – Chelsea sell more shirts than Arsenal and Liverpool

Le10 Sport have revealed from statistics released by Euroaméricas Sport Marketing that Chelsea were ranked 5th in the number of shirts sold worldwide during the season. Due to the success Chelsea have had in the past eleven years has led to the London side becoming a global club along with the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid andManchester Unitedicon1.png.

Euroaméricas Sport Marketing has released the list showing how many jerseys were sold by the top clubs in Europe and Chelsea made the top five by selling a total of 1.8m sold during the 2014/15 season. This put them ahead of Premier League rivals Arsenal and Liverpool in the standings, with Manchester United being the only English side ahead of them. Manchester United sold a total of 1.94m shirts in the same period, but this was only enough to give them a ranking of 4th.

The two La Liga giants were listed in the top two with Real Madrid selling 2.5m shirts compared to Barcelona with 2.4m sales. Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich made up the top three by selling 1.97m shirts, putting them just ahead of Manchester United.

Since Roman Abramovich bought Chelsea he has made them into a major force in world football, which is reflected in the number of worldwide fans. He has brought domestic and European success to the club which has been helped by bringing some of the best players in the world.
