We weren't nearly good enough that game with the exception of the five or so minutes each side of the goal. That said, despite being poor we never looked uncomfortable -- at least until Matic got himself sent off which was daft, but entirely understandable.

Officiating was dire as usual but that will come as a surprise to nobody. The odd decision going against us is palatable, two blatant penalties ignored is not. How Ashley Barnes walked off the pitch at full time with not so much as a yellow is farcical. But then this is the Barclay's Premier League brought to you by the ever scrupulous English F.A.

No team in the world can perform like gods every game. There is gonna be players who are tired, coming back from injuries, having an offday and whatever.

Considering the above, we would have won the game if it wasnt for the referee. This is a FACT that is undisputable. He robbed us.

This means that if the referee wasnt a cunt you probably wouldnt say the same thing you did about the team, players or manager.

Matic's actions were stupid and forget the Premier League, may well have cost us the COC next week.

Having said that, if the ref had any fucking clue what he was doing, the scoreline would have been 3-0 when the red card was shown, due to two clear penalties being waved away. Not to mention that Barnes should have been sent off for one of the most disgusting challenges you will ever see and therefore the numbers would have remained even anyway. Very close to a broken leg for Nemanja.

Bigger picture - I'm generally one of the more positive ones on here when it comes to supporting and backing in my team, but seriously, the wheels are falling off big-time. We haven't played well at all since Swansea, and they virtually gave us half of our goals on that day anyway. Take Iva out of our last few performances and we'd be truly fucked.

A few of our boys were seriously lackluster today, hopefully playing off for silverware in a final next up will give them the kick up the ass that they need.
