Against City and Newcastle we didn't make our 1-man advantage count at all even though it really is a significant opportunity.Would be foolish to think we don't do that, or any other team for that matter. Also mourinho bottled it last year and looks past it , I honestly believe mourinho days are over. Yes we have started well this season but we startedto well. Mourinho clueless against sunderland and now againts newcastle. Making stupid subs and leaving remy on bench.He persist with hazard, even when he kept losing posession and holding on to it.please advise us all to lower our expectation this season. so we wont be dissapointed at the end. It's not really about the stuff he can do - we know what they are- but the stuff he doesn't/can't do. When in possession he simply does not partipiate in The build up play like Matic does. His lack of movement makes it harder on other players. Not a player for us.Not all about mikel ,though the attack lacks help w him on the pitch, or Cahill's poor form (don't think he's that good tbh), but we've just had too many underperformers.Newcastle are powerful, intense, and play with lots of pace. iseah100 5,612 Posted December 6, 2014 Share Posted December 6, 2014 It took until drogba came on that i realised what was wrong with our last couple of performances.He played with passion and guts, and imposed himself upon the game.Our players have become a little too comfortable after the initial brilliant start to the season.Those bullying characteristics that every player showed early on in the season need to come back quickly.We were hunting down opposition players in packs and winning the ball, but that behavior has reduced alot and we have become slower in posession.Few things to be worked out in training.Matic is irreplaceable. and costa needs to get his movement back on trackk.Just what I was thinking. JT needs to rally the troops and tell them how it is.Great shout.
