the wes 7,212
which squad is the best ????
kellzfresh 7,229
This squad looks like it will be more exciting to watch, but with the 2004/05 squadand its defensive strength, I was more confident of winning any match.
CurlyHairLikeLuiz 1,625
04/05 was less afraid to play ugly football and grind wins but I much prefer the current squad because they're amazing to watch. If we had the Drogba of then I think it'd be a no brainer. Oh, and Lamps too...I think my dream Chelsea team would be complete.EDIT: can't believe I forgot Joe Cole of the 1st Mou reign! Was my fav player when I was younger! naoziwatele 2
The current one is great to watch. Hope they can get a trophy soon. Then they will be comparable with the 04/05 squad.
ZanSnake 1,211
The attacking prowess, and the strength of which, is the greatest we have over the 2004/5 quad - though i wouldn't bemoan a younger Drogba or Cole

illmatic 901
The current squad is more amazing to watch, but have to wait to see how it progresses and what manages to get. The 2004/05 was not as flashy but it was a tank; organized, rocky, competitive, a team you had the feeling that no one could beat him. To this day I do not understand how not win a Champions League (Or maybe yes, a fucking phantom goal).
OhForAGreavsie 6,083
For me it must come down to the eating of the puddings; 04/05 2, 14/15 0 (to date), so I dismiss the claims of the current squad. They are welcome to reapply for consideration once they've actually won something.
Atlas Lion 1,223
Drogba - CostaHazard - Lamps - RobbenMakelele - FabregasCarvalho - Terry - CahillCourtois Oh man oh manDuff > RobbenWithout a shadow of a doubt. Anyone who's watched us pre - 2006 wouldn't hesitate to put Duff ahead of Robben who in all reality is on there merely on name alone. Spike 12,049
04/05 would win on the virtue of solidarity. The pragmatism is on another level.
