This is the proper definition of bus parking. 0 opportunity created, not threatened because you got 9 players behind the ball and hardly anyone going forward on counter. City cant create much either, but still they are at least trying. we are attacking with 3 and max 4 players, while they have 7,8 in defence. He is out there busting his ass, usually stranded and given little options, and people are complaining he is turning the ball over? Where the hell have Costa, Hazard and Cesc been? He can't do anything with it when he's being crowded and given no options. At least hes going out there and drawing some fouls, slowing the game down, and giving us a chance at some set plays. We've barely managed to string two or three passes together in the final third. What do you expect him to do? He's been clever in the little possession he's had on the ball. Some of his misplaced passes could have cost us 2-3 goals. Furthermore, he is losing the ball when we are building up our attack (-> time when most goals happen), thus we aren't re-sorted at the back yet.
