petre.ispirescu 4,928
I've read something on Cadena COPE, too. He is fuming over Luis Enrique's decisions and he thinks that he (Luis Enrique) is too cocky and consideres himself as being the "king of the locker room" these days. Also he confronted the Barcelona board because he is sick of them always defending Luis Enrique after a poor result. Messi does not think Luis Enrique is the man for this job.

Pizy 18,985
If he ever does leave (which won't happen) just please don't let it be to fucking City. I might just give up on football if that happened.
LondonsFinest 692
Everybody will kill for Messi. Won't he be a pain in the locker room, coming as the big star and wanting to shine above all?
Yeboii 1,844
So rather than just sacking Enrique they'll allow the world's best player to leave? Doesn't sound very plausible. No player is bigger than the club I presume
Fernando 6,591
Kinda reminds me of the AVB situation. In which now seeing the true character of Lampard, I presume he had a major hand in his sacking. So Enrique will get the sack, no way they let go of Messi. DH1988 1,352
Absolutely ridiculous.Agree with Fernando, they'd sack the coach rather than let Messi go especially with the transfer issues they have.Messi is not the same player and already has to alter his play style. Tautvix 1,321
1) Messi won't leave Barca2) We don't have money to buy him (Mourinho already said that)3) Maybe there's only one way how we could get money to buy Messi - selling Hazard for 100M to Real

Chelsea Legend 11 4,062
Messi to Chelsea... Hmmm?Lets examine some things first. CONS- If I'm not mistaken Barca cannot be involved in any transfers until January 2016.- Messi will be almost 29 in january of 2016 and 29 in the corresponding summer. £200m for a 29 yr old striker(even Messi) doesn't seem likely...- How do we sanction such a move without being obliterated by FFP? Messi makes 20m a year in wages.- Shevchenko. Can Messi adjust to the rigours of the EPL at the age of 29?- How many top years does he have left?PROS- He is an offensive dynamo that if teamed with Hazard and Fab would propel us to world beater status.- Will officially make CFC the brand, one of the top four in the world.- Every game will be televised for sure.- Messi in the 10, Hazard on the wing, Fab at CM, Costa up top... - He will certainly make it easier to attract talent.- He will sell zillions of shirts for our sponsor and thus boost our next deal through the roof.No one in their right mind can say no to Messi but if the rumoured fee of £200m is even remotely close to the truth, not only will we not be able to afford it, but the risk/reward factor would lean more towards risk.I want him on the squad but not for stupid money, if the situation is truly untenable then surely something in the neighbourhood of 100m can get it done? Right?
MrBlueGuy 1,552
Could actually see Enrique being sacked straight away if Barca go out of CL to City in a few weeks. He will never leave Barca, not unless extreme things happen anyway. Hating a coach...etc is normal, it happens everywhere at top clubs and usually if the player is good, he always win. Tbf even if it was Pep vs Messi now I think Messi would win, the only 1 who wouldn't accept that is Mourinho but then he will also most likely get sacked if it was the case anyway. michalcfc 69
I would say that Suarez is more possible to buy than Messi, if we consider just Barcelona. He looks like a flop by now (3 goals in the middle of the season), and could leave like Ibra did in the past, because they both just don't fit in the Barca system.
