It always seems like people who met each other are playing together for the first time. No one twos, no nothing.This is not about practice, this is the profile of the players. Has all the tools but is still so raw and undisciplined.Schürrle has been the only bright spark for us in attack that half. He's sprinting and trying his heart out but there's zero creativity in this lineup. Like many times last season, we get the ball in the final third and play grinds to a halt and our guys start going at walking pace. Players just standing rand and hoping something happens. What the fuck is wrong with these people?Mikel, Ramires and Willian are playing = We're struggling to create from midfieldDrogba and Torres are playing = a lack of movement up topChristensen and Zouma are at centre-back = mistakes will be made through inexperienceMost of the forum saw this coming before the match started yet some people are still moaning. The players aren't skinning anyone here because they're afraid of being injured - within reason.I'll take the game against Sociedad more seriously because I expect it to be a luxury training sessions for the the debut against Burnley. But even then I won't trash the guys if they're a little bit cautious and don't show too much effort. You definitely don't want to get injured a week from the start of the season.And seriously, when did Schurrle become set piece specialist? He's been on par with Cesc in those corners and like the commentator, I thought that FK was a goal... either way it was a very good FK.What confidence can do!
