Because I forgot to move the topics to the staff room the minute they closed on Friday, I wasn't able to fix the polls.

So it doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to work out 1) who the winners are, and 2) that for the first time in TalkChelsea history I haven't messed with the voting system (much).

I am delighted to confirm the following are the WINNERS of the 2014 TalkChelsea Forum Awards! The winners will be granted a place in TalkChelsea folklore as true LEGENDS of the site. You will also have the smug satisfaction of being able to deem all others on this forum mere peasants for the next twelve months.

14. Special Recognition Award - KevinAshburner, for his infectious humour and personality.

We get it, advertisements are annoying!
Talk Chelsea relies on revenue to pay for hosting and upgrades. While we try to keep adverts as unobtrusive as possible, we need to run ad's to make sure we can stay online because over the years costs have become very high.
