We Hate Scouse 10,326
If he continues at that rate he will break Henry's record easily. And then Arse fans will shit bricks a whole lot more than now. He'll also beat Lampard's record of 18 which will be nice. DH1988 1,348
JWP is actually a very good player, I had no clue who he was until I saw a video on his 'how to' on a set piece because he was lauded for his delivery etc, since then I kept an eye but can't say he'd be ready for a top 4 club, at the perfect club tbh. Wow that's a very big statement. in recent times alone I can think of Scholes and Rooney as being technically superior and then the older generation you have technical wizzards like Gascoigne,Hoddle,Waddle et al. bababoom 4,478
Ross Barkely is a headless chicken, no football brain whatsoever, whenever he gets the ball all he wants to do is run with it. JWP on the other hand is not as technically gifted but is so smart when on the ball and is one of the best set piece takers in the league. I wouldn't mind trying to get JWP, although he'd cost a fortune, better than Barkley imo. bababoom and DYC.

These are the type of English players the club should go for imo. Get em early, pull of a 'Chambers' like Arsenal, even though they're already quite expensive. Not good enough to be a regular yet but more than capable as a squad player (so no death loans). The Skipper and iseah100
