Most likely because he hasn't done anything of any significance whatsoever for a very long time....Makes sense.

:D True. Says a lot when he does it during the most vital spell though.

Surely that means we will be in the market for another attacking mid next window then if we dont keep Moses or Marin

I think that, on paper, this is a brilliant lineup, except for Torres. Im not saying this to bash on him... but the way we're gonna play Id rather see Eto or Ba. Torres usually does pointless runs and loses the ball alot.

Anyway, I think the formation will be played something like this: (with our 3 CBs sitting deep and only use them in set pieces)

Schwarzer

Azpi - Iva - Cahill - Terry - Cole

Ramires - Luiz

Willian - Torres - Hazard

I predict a 1-0 win.

This is far too defensive. seriously where is the balance?

Where will the creativity come from, Ramires, luiz and azpi in midfield on paper looks quite ridiculous. And why has Rami been chosen ahead of mikel who was arguably motm in the previous encounter and given the season the Brazilian has had. . . .

Not happy with the selection at all.

Poor Oscar... wouldn't be surprised we are in for a n10 next this summer...

I still think he's more a pivot player next to a destroyer than a n10 anyways.

When next to a hard worker like Willian, and in front of a pivot, you need to have more creativity than he has.

Just saw stats - Torres scored 6 in his last 6 starts in Europe, is it true?

I. Am. Scared.

Trust Jose to go all experimental lineup in probably the biggest game of the season.

Oh God...
