Special Juan 28,141
I have given my explanations in the previous posts. I am not disagreeing that we have had decisions against us for sure but there have been games where the ref has let us off the hook. Ultimately our team has not been good enough to win these type of games.I have given mine, where do we draw the line? It's all debate, but the decisions have been hideous. xPetrCechx 13,571
Gus Poyet apologised to Chelsea for trashing their title hopes and admitted: “I said we needed a miracle – and we got one.” And Poyet shrugged: “To be the first team somehow to beat Mourinho’s Chelsea at home is a privilege – and a little bit of mixed emotions. I played here and I know how important this game was for them. “What I have done to their title hopes is bad, but I’m sorry – I was just doing my best for Sunderland, I cannot do anything different. “I hope I will feel less guilty if Chelsea go on to win the Champions League, because I am still good friends with everybody here, and I would like them to keep winning. GodZola 630
That is not the reason we lost. Did you not forget Ramires should have been sent off. That was the most obvious call he could have made but he did not. Blaming the ref is just not accepting responsibilites for our loss.First things first, Rami got a kick first but as usual nothing gets said he then over reacted and should of gone but let's forget that Johnson should of gone first for his karate kick to Aspi, no? My belief is that you can forgive the officials for the odd mistake during games but there were so many bad decisions in that one game alone that it is hard to wonder why these officials are full time pro's? If they would perform to a level of consistency then I'm sure the conspiracy theories wouldn't get any daylight, sure we have had some luck which are for the large part one off decisions the very same as when we should of had a pen at Everton and then went on to lose the game.....What's irking fans are that we have lost 2 games recently where refs in both games (Villa also) have made so many bad calls in 90 minutes & all but most of those decisions has gone against us in a crucial run in, some could also argue that Liverpool have been getting some favourable decisions especially where pens are concerned. However having said all that we have to ensure that we put ourselves in a position to not worry about the incompetence of piss poor officiating, the world and his brother no we need a goalscorer and I think its already been said that our decision making in the final third is just as shocking as the officials. steve_n17

steve_n17 31
well yeah, but i'm just saying about the actual pen he did give, he didn't give it lol. he also didn't send off Ramires, so you know..sometimes a player gets send off and that ignites the team and they actually play better than before, but when ramires got shoved as he about to head that sitter that was not only a last man sending off for sunderland but also a penalty kolovrat
The Chels 2,502
A very fair analysis of the refereeing decisions by former PL referee Dermot Gallagher:http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/9276384Most interestingly we've finally heard someone admit the push on Ramires was a foul!Earlier, Larsson had eased Ramires off the ball when he seemed certain to extend Chelsea's lead and Gallagher believes Dean got that decision wrong: "I did think that was a penalty because Ramires was about to head the ball into the net - and it would have been a red card," he told Sky Sports News. "The referee did not deem that to be a penalty for whatever reason."What I don't get is why the players didn't even complain about any of the major decisions - the push on Ramires, penalty, Terry goal, etc. I mean how many times have we seen referees influenced by players' reactions, most notably the Newcastle goal disallowed against City because of the players' complaints even though the ref couldn't actually see it; and also Liverpool's penalty against West Ham that the referee wasn't going to give until he saw Suarez's reaction. Obviously I don't want our players to be moaning cunts but they could at least appeal and put doubt in the referee's mind FFS! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pOvZLg1QkUo

petre.ispirescu 4,928
Missed this one, I had some days off and went on a small holiday. No TV, no internet connection. Nothing. But I watched the extended highlights earlier and fuck!!! So frustrating losing like that. And Mike Dean... what a deluded scouser that guy is. An insult to this football game.I was optimistic of fighting for the title until the last minute of this season, but it's over now. I feel sorry for the lads, but the FA gifted Liverpool the title long time ago.Bring home the Champions League! Come on Chelsea!Onwards and upwards!
