Nice flick from Luiz and Iva is on a roll! Luiz first (and only) touch to control a long ball in front of an opponent a moment before was just pretty incredible. Almost too much technique for a defender.

We've been playing well - now WBA will open up which makes imperative we hit them on the break and kill this game right away. This is a must win esp with this starting XI.

@ Sheva. as if Shirley or Salah would make a difference in such tight spaces. Our game plan against these small all out defensive teams is just not as well developed as that for the big matches. Not enough bodies in the box imo.

The fact we don't have a competent striker is glaring and a massive mistake that might cost us this title which would be a big big shame. Eto'o floats around too much and he's just not a striker thats going to bury those crosses.

West Brom will come out and attack in the second half. We have to be ready for that and play on the counter. It should be a good thing for us with Willian and Hazard, crossed fingers for a Chelsea goal to kill them off.

Again, we still tend to struggle in these mid-week games against weaker opposition. It's like half of our lads woke up from the wrong side of the bed. Anyway, the goal we scored means it will be a more open half.
