Ollie 4,400
Newcastle started ok but when you have players like Hazard, Oscar etc then you know they can do something out of the blue. The goals were pure works of art, beautiful. Set up well and finished expertly. Was a really big win and if you look at our run in, you'd probably say we're favourites now as we've done so well in the big games. I wasn't really thinking about it too much but now looking at the table and our fixtures with the run in i'm actually really nervous now, these are mega exciting times. I know it was very much the Eden Hazard show but the way he was set up by the rest of the players was great too. The flick from Eto'o and the pass for his first goal were perfect for him to finish off. Stunning player though, best in the league.
different level 1,056
Nice win and a great day in terms of results. Arsenal were thrashed, City held and we're on top of the table! Hazard was exceptional and Matic bossed the midfield. Also very nice from Frank to give Eden a chance for his first EPL hat trick which he took. Just awesome

The_Flash 1,144
Bloody Carrick, Fulham needed to take that chance earlier and it should have been 2-0. Damn

The only place to be 11,313
Just a very professional win and whilst teams around us are slipping, we're finding form at just the right time. Everything seems to be coming along nicely from Eto'o's contribution to the team, to Matic already becoming a giant in the midfield and even finding a chance to rest JT and give Luiz another chance in defence. Fair play to Newcastle who gave a decent account of themselves, but it was a game we never looked like losing.Throw in an England victory against Scotland, Arsenal being demolished by Liverpool, City throwing away points at Carrow Road and United becoming an even bigger embarrassment and that is a weekend for the books. Special Juan 28,141
Also, not sure if mentioned but once again the donkey work of Willian was a joy. He not only pressed and harried players but his work off the ball, pulling defenders around the field and his distribution was superb. That second was brilliant, absolute top class and as soon as we where on our own 18 yard line I said to my lad "Breaks on" the ball from Luiz was excellent and the speed we swept forward was a joy.We are a joy to watch right now.I was watching goals on Sunday yesterday and a Newcastle fan tweeted in "It was a joy to watch Hazard yesterday, he was un-playable"

Zola's Flick 57
What a fabulous weekend. Started in the boozer watching Arsenal get caned, leaving 1st place up for grabs then watched Hazard destroy Newcastle while Man City stumbled against Norwich, then capped off by seeing Man Utd draw to the team in bottom spot.Hazard was mesmerising. He really has come in to his own since about the start of December. Weird to think back to October time, he was having a real dip in form and wasn't starting every game. Now he's realising his potential and having a Robben-esque effect on us a la 2004/05. Long may it continue. We weren't at our best but it was always going to be tough to replicate the City performance just five days later. The most pleasing thing is we won anyway with each and every player putting a shift in. Shoutout to Cech for a couple of very good saves at important stages.Salah did okay when he came on, should have scored though.Top of the league guys, let's keep it up!
