Ben Sahar is happy that Sheffield Wednesday's fate lies in their own hands as they head into Sunday's season-defining game against Norwich.

The Owls are two points above the relegation places and know that a win at Carrow Road will be good enough for them to remain in the Championship having secured a vital 3-1 win against fellow relegation candidates Leicester last Saturday.

Sahar has made 11 appearances for Brian Laws' side since joining from Chelsea and is confident Wednesday can produce the result they need.

"We know a win is good enough and that we won't have to wait for anyone else's results so its in our own hands," Sahar told the club's official website.

"We know we can play very good football, we showed that in the second half against Leicester, and its important we get the win."
