Joker10 946
With Varane and Mangala, could that mean actually Zouma misses out on being a France regular? I personally think Laporte and Varane are France future CBs at this point.I don't like Zouma style personally he needs to be more disciplined. His tackle on Aguero was fantastic in the box. But he could have had the same effect by just closing on him on his feet, would have had the same effect and with much less risk. With Aguero and his theatricals tendencies, who knows this could have been a penalty.Anyway he was one of the bright spot on the day, hope he continues his progressive development. Popular Post! Term-X 7,891 Posted February 1, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted February 1, 2015 At the start of the season, there was talk of him going out on loan, but Zouma kept reinforcing (when asked by the media) his determination to work hard in training and take his chances. Fair play to him, imagine if Lukaku had that attitude! Fernando, The Mak, Badboy and 6 others
kellzfresh 7,229
He was patient, waited for his chance and like azpi, he's seeing the rewards. I think this character and attitude is what Mourinho wants from his players the most. nadavTKL and Barbara
Polo7 3,496
To think Man city paid 30m for mangala. We got this gem for half the price!

lucio 5,418
They might have a golden generation of CB if Varane,Laporte,Zouma, and mangala develop properly. But overall I don't see that much exciting talent all over the pitch.thats without mentioning umtiti, who is himself rumoured to madridwhatever happens, someone good is going to miss out Joker10

Daniel1980 1,425
It's probably pretty safe to say that Zouma is a starter now. If he started against Liverpool and City, he will start against worse sides. Muzchap and Barbara

Muzchap 8,966
As others have said: Battled for his placeImpressed in gamesThis lad is great for a 20 year old. Proving age is irrelevant - if you are good enough, you are old enough.Him and Varane would be an ideal partnershipThe only tiny critique I have is his timing when heading - seems to get up too early - I'm sure that's just over excitement though Chelsea Legend 11, kellzfresh and Bosnian Blue

Styles 9,790
Amazing to think that Zouma still qualifies as an U21 player for next season as well - something which gives us some flexibility with the squad.Playing against Aguero was the biggest test of his career so far; he has never played against an opponent that quick, technically gifted and tricky before and he coped with it brilliantly.Future captain. Styles 9,790
He has played against Ibrahimovic.I know, and that's why I clarified exactly why Aguero was the toughest test of his career - he's a completely different kind of test:he has never played against an opponent that quick, technically gifted and trickyAguero represents a unique challenge with that combination.
