Roquila 1,335
I don't hold u grudge either, but just get your facts right. Kosovo is part of Serbia since around 1300. For all of us serbians Kosovo has higher meaning because of the battle of Kosovo in 1389.Kosovo was always a part of something since mankind, that was our fate. You know that we exist long before your country even had a name. This is no place to dicuss this. Balkan has one of the most richest history on earth, alot of people would get confused here. We can talk in Belgrade if you like. I still am demanding a free beer. Kieran.
Roquila 1,335
haha I was just making a silly joke about the serbian way of spelling Serbia ... that's allNice way of making me look dumb

CHOULO19 24,332
Alright, let's not turn this into a politics thread. Nemanja's political opinions and whether or not he was indeed knowingly expressing any political belief is personal to him and irrelevant to the football he plays. Discuss it in the general knowledge section if you must, this thread is about Nemanja Matic the footballer only. Thank you.He scares opponents away, that alone is enough Fine then, put him under "Terrifying Midfielder" iseah100
ParNolio7 285
Nice way of making me look dumb Unintended but still ... ;-) I was just more expecting (hoping to be honest) someone to react like "OMG you really don't know that's Serbia on his shirt!'too bad Roquila
ParNolio7 285
Fine then, put him under "Terrifying Midfielder" Gonna check Touré's stats later, not too convinced about him not doing anything defensively.

Spike 12,049
Gonna check Touré's stats later, not too convinced about him not doing anything defensively. He is a Box-To-Box Midfielder. He defends but he isn't a Defensive Midfielder like Mascherano, Javi Martinez or Lars Bender.
ParNolio7 285
Fine then, put him under "Terrifying Midfielder" Okay, you're right defensive contribution well below average. Point taken CHOULO19

ParNolio7 285
No, Mascherano is a CB indeed! and who is this "arse bender" guy anyway??
Spike 12,049
No, Mascherano is a CB Only at Barcelona can the best DM in the world become a sub-par CB.
CHOULO19 24,332
Only at Barcelona can the best DM in the world become a sub-par CB.The man almost single-handedly stopped Germany in midfield in the WC final. Not that I'd want to face a Barca with proper CBs and players actually playing in their rightful positions...
BlueLyon 9,359
Only at Barcelona can the best DM in the world become a sub-par CB.Everyone says we and Real ruin players, but look at Barca. Chigrinsky, Afellay, Ibra, Sanchez, Cesc, Song, Masch, hell even Pique got ''rejected'' in recent years from that club... kellzfresh
DYC. 7,542
Excellent performance. Bar the penalty he gave away, he was perfection. Constantly disrupted their attacks, defended effectively both high up the pitch and in deeper positions. He was very calm in possession, drove forward with the ball on more than a couple of occasions, exhibited intelligent passing. He was just amazing. Absolutely love the guy. bababoom
