Jase 43,479
Find it funny that people would be blaming that Villa defeat if we were to lose the title in the end...
Jambo 231
Draws against West Ham and West Brom were another crucial 4 points lost that really should have been bagged.
boshman 1,073
With the result tonight i feel we need!! Arsenal to do us a favour on Saturday. If City win that i think my hope will start sliding away from me... someone tell me i am wrong
yuvala 2,167
We can say that about every lost or draw .. At the end of the day there's no 1 match to blame. We just have to not drop stupid points next season, because we're doing great in the big matches.
didierforever 7,349
Find it funny that people would be blaming that Villa defeat if we were to lose the title in the end...has to be. Very pivotal. It took city 2 results away from us, not just one.

Rubber bullets 1,183
I still think Man City will drop more points then us. So I stil lexpect this team to win the title at the end of the season. Failure to do so will be a massive disappointment.
Jase 43,479
has to be. Very pivotal. It took city 2 results away from us, not just one.The point is, we would drop points at some point in this run-in, one way or another. Points dropped over the course of the season against the lesser sides is probably gonna be what cost us in the end. City have done so themselves but they are probably just a tad more consistent than us in getting those points.
LAM09 7,062
No surprise then. Utd getting done over once again this season. Also, it might sound weird me saying this, but I am disappointed Arsenal didn't win tonight. I have no idea what side will turn up on Saturday. dee25 1,044
I was fairly confident that they would drop points along the way but that Villa loss - I'm sure it just reinvigorated them. If we had won that game then who knows, City might have choked against Utd but now they have some breathing room and newly added impetus. Jase 43,479
That hope for United to get something against City was just that, hope. As for Arsenal, never mind their defensive problems, the fact that they look broken psychologically and having low morale, City could well just walk over them this Saturday! The_Flash 1,144
***** Utd, can't even help us, handing the title to City practically, and Moyes just walks off, oh well. He is a ****

I mean they are 3 points off with 2 games in hand while losing twice to us.But the point was the pressure those ganes in hand vs the points in the bag would create on them. That villa game took all the pressure off them. While it might not be the only result but it will be a mega important result considering the time of that. LAM09 7,062
At this rate, Everton could be are only hope of them dropping points along with Liverpool.
cosmicway 1,333
I used to think the, supposed, rivalry was between them and City, not Liverpool.
zolayes 14,489
ok will settle for 2nd place but win CL and Wigan retain FA Cup
Jase 43,479
They are not a "tad better". I mean they are 3 points off with 2 games in hand while losing twice to us.I was saying hypothetically if they win their 2 games in hand, which they should against Sunderland and Villa at home. We may have beaten them twice but they might just turn out to be a little better than us in getting those points against the lesser sides. That was the point. But the point was the pressure those ganes in hand vs the points in the bag would create on them. That villa game took all the pressure off them. While it might not be the only result but it will be a mega important result considering the time of that. Don't necessarily disagree with that but we won't know if the pressure would affect them anyway. It could go either way..
Eggman 118
the Villa game will cost us, but equally the draws in our away matches against ManU and Arsenal. With a little more ambition in those games we could have easily won.
Pizy 18,952
As long as Liverpool don't win it then I'm content with 2nd-3rd in José's first season back.
