PSV want to keep Chelsea pair Rajkovic, Alcides

tribalfooball.com - April 24, 2008

PSV Eindhoven want to hang onto Chelsea pair Slobodan Rajkovic and Alcides next season.

Both players are on loan from Chelsea with the 23-year-old Alcides moving to Eindhoven at the start of 2007 and Rajkovic, 19, following his team-mate six months later.

They have clocked up 34 league appearances between them this season to help PSV retain their Eredivisie title, and technical manager Stan Valckx is hoping they will remain at the Philips Stadion into the new campaign as well.

"We really want to keep both players here," he told Voetbal International. "I cannot say if that is possible, it is difficult to predict.

"For Alcides especially. They have already loaned him out for four years and I don't know if that is their intention for next season too."

why not hold on to alcides.. he is becoming a better player every passing season, may be he doesnt end up at Chelsea after all this but we could get more for him in the coming years..

If he is not going to make it with us then there is no point keeping him on the clubs books. Rajkovic though is looking a good prospect, if he can earn a regular place at PSV then it won't be long until he comes to us...
