Sidzeret 2,257
Hahah brilliant, he needs to take those pound shop batteries oh and get some duracell's inHe might not be compatible with those English batteries. Might need to import from Italy or Spain. The_Flash
Tomo 21,751
Statiscally we look better with him in the side - the entire team and Eto'o average more shots and shots on target with him in the side. I still don't feel like he is any where near good enough to be first choice striker at a club at our stature but he is a slight improvement over Torres and BaThing is with Eto'o is if all else fails he atleast gets the basics right like not turning over the ball nearly every time he gets it, que someone quoting me and mentioning the Stoke game, like he has been doing it all season. Bosnian Blue 2,471
Good, never should have been signed in the first place. May aswell ship him off in January, wouldn't make much of a difference. Not a bad move for him though, Anzhi fell apart but in us he found another club to get big money from, very clever indeed. The_Flash 1,144
Guardian sport @guardian_sport7mChelsea's Samuel Eto'o will head to Major League Soccer at end of seasonhttp://www.theguardian.com/football/2013/dec/09/samuel-etoo-chelsea-mls?CMP=twt_guI really hope that is too true but as someone said can't we just get rid of him in Jan, he has been a terrible signing. JDY 1,290
Was watching MNF earlier and Jamie Carragher was saying Eto'o is a player that can't hold the ball up/bring others into play to save his life. The 30 minutes or so that Eto'o played vs Stoke must have been the only time he's ever watched him play

BlueLion. 21,491
He's leaving in the summer anyway, so why farm him off now? Brilliant player to bring off the bench, and he'll score another half-dozen goals before he leaves. If he ends up with 10 goals and 5 assists in all competitions in his first season in English football having played only about 50% of our matches, I'd be pretty pleased tbh. I wasn't expecting much when he arrived. The Skipper and Tomo

Were you expecting him to be a player off the bench to stumble around & to score of some left overs, then ? It seems to me, Jose prefers all these washed ups, Essien, Eto´o he brought in, Roman pays them well, to stink up the place.Meanwhile, young & talented players were loaned out or are sitting on the bench. The only place to be 11,313
He represents everything bad about this club over the last decade. In the space of 72 hours we signed him and loaned out Lukaku.Overpaid, under-performing and he could well be to Lukaku what Torres was to Sturridge. However, since he is a 32 then why was he brought in ?Lukaku at 20, a raw diamond is popping goals elsewhere. Does it make sense to you ?

Eto'o has won leagues and Champions Leagues whereas Lukaku is still young, so Eto'o should statistically be more likely to help us win something....or maybe they're just going by their ratings on FIFA 14.I don't know, but there's a distinct lack of soul in some of this club's decisions. Special Juan 28,783
Like the only place to be keeps stating, our problem solver is at Everton. I'm not saying he would score 30 goals here but there has to be a point where you stop, take stock and say now is the time for the boy Lukaku, which should of been the time back in the summer. Eto'o will do a job but I can not and will not believe he can be the one to fire us to the brink of winning the league.I just think the choice to allow Lukaku to leave on loan and bring Eto'o was the most baffling thing for a long time at this club. Whether it be Lukaku asking or us telling him, from my point of view he should of been told in no uncertain terms he stays here, and I bet he would answered the critics and outshone Torres and Ba with ease, simply because he is hungry, and right now we do not have hungry strikers. bushman 2,043
Right on we do not have hungry strikers...I read. LOL.Chelsea have three starving stooges.BA is licking the pitch, most of the times, Torres goes through the motion, & Eto´o does not have anything left in him. That´s the bottom line here! thekid9
