Las7 951
First striker to open his account in the EPL this season, Eto'o already has as many goals in the EPL as Torres in 2013 Lethal - if we just forget his chance in the first goal which lead to Hazard's equalizer
Popular Post! Magic Lamps 11,692 Posted October 19, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted October 19, 2013 No idea why he did not simply put the ball in an empty net for the first, but in the end it did not matter.I hope those "he lost his pace and is shit" BS will stop eventually. The cardiff defenders struggled with his pace all match long and his winner was an impressive demonstration of skill, quick feet and precision. didi007, Barbara, The Skipper and 6 others

Popular Post! Tomo 21,751 Posted October 19, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted October 19, 2013 He should be our #1 until we sign a new forward, even when he is not scoring he offer's a lot to the team, the difference technically between him and Torres/Ba is ridiculous. So unless one of those two start scoring considerably more than Samuel, the Cameroonian should be leading the line because he offers more even when not scoring. zyzz, Milan, didi007 and 2 others
ChelseasMessiah 304
He is very compatible to our technical midfielders, he brought the experience and will we needed when one nil down today. Great game.
Sheva. 5,373
Finally. He was good all game, from creating that chance for Mata, to stealing the ball from gk - he waited too long to shoot, still looked like a pen to me if Hazard wasn't there. Blue Armour 4,439
Lovely footwork...his dribbling has always been pretty good since he got here. Hope this goal brings his lethal striking instinct back.

Kish9 50
no. fair goal.Tbh the rules say the keeper is still in control of the ball even if he is bouncing the ball, but good for him to try and get the ball in the first place

The_Flash 1,144
Come on guys, be realistic, he wasn't excellent, he had two good moments. I can't believe he played not great most of the game, i went to the loo and he bloody scored, and i missed it, thankfully saw the replay.Don't get me wrong, i am delighted he scored and i hope it is the beginning of many, but lets not jump ahead, he was BETTER today, not excellent.Luckily Eden was there for the first goal, and Oscar's was great. I felt sorry for Luiz, he made a mistake, the commentator was a joke, going on and on about as if he has never made a mistake. It shouldnt have happened but it did, get over it.I thought it was a strong comeback team performance.

Especially when they all seem to be pulling in the same directionTook Torres over 700 minutes to get a goal for CFC and 14 appearances, Eto'o has made 5 appearances and people were already righting him off as not good enough, wanting Torres to start ahead of him. Stick it to the hatersIt was ONE GOAL....Lets not get ahead of ourselves, i hope it is the start of many but starting silly comparisions between him and Torres is pointless. I hope both go on to score many goals this year.

I can't believe he played not great most of the game, i went to the loo and he bloody scored, and i missed it, thankfully saw the replay.Don't think anyone is saying he was excellent today; most are just saying he had a good game, which is true, and that he should probably be our number one striker because of the threat he has against teams that sit deep because he's technically better than both Torres & Ba.
