His movement was good, especially in the first half, but I think he needed another striker next to him, Basel were preventing anything into the box. His movement was superb and unlike torres has always been better compared to the opposition striker in his two games so far so i think its the service that is lacking. He is also much quicker than I expected.His final product was missing last night though. Great turns on the ball but either the shooting or passing were not on near the box. I HOPE he will improve but analyising his performance last night, he looked confused and never was going to score. He still needs some time, though and even if I don't like it, I will say it: Torres is a better option for us, at the moment. Against Bayern and today we were clearly more dynamic with him on the field. Even if he doesn't shoot too much, he knows the group and the group knows him.Let Eto'o play against Swindon and Steaua, but Torres should be on the pitch on WHL on Saturday. Apart from two chances against Everton(one of which came solely through an Everton mistake - not like he received a killer pass) can anyone really remember him at any point having a chance he should have done better with? What chance and against who? There simply aren't any. Our strikers are simply not getting through balls getting fed into them, and our midfield are not creating chances for them. Let's not forget Eto'o is not the only one who hasn't scored a league goal yet. Anyway so far it seems like Jose is trying to use him in a deeper role than a traditional striker which further hinders his goal scoring opportunities.I say leave it till he misses chances that he clearly should have scored like Torres did over his first few years with us, and then make conclusions about his worth. People should wait till he squanders a few clear goal scoring opportunities before making up their mind on whether he can take them for us consistently over the course of the season.
