chrismada9 1,948
@tancredipalmeri: Informed that Eto'o entourage is extremely confident to close the deal with ChelseaPalmeri is a waste of space! Waterfall 893
Would almost put my entire life savings on Eto'o joining
chrismada9 1,948
I really hope we don't get him! ... I hope another club comes in with a better offer and they swoop him away. We'll be trying to sign Kaka when he turns 40 next.
JDY 1,290
Hopefully we get him in before Bayern.
CHOULO19 24,332
MODS: Can we add @tancredipalmeri to the unreliable list and not post any of his bull shit?Well we can add him but can you stop people from posting it anyway? There is a "bad words filter" for the forum that prohibits members making posts with certain words. I wonder if I can convince Jim to add the words Tancredi and Palmeri to it.... Severinb 309
Dont want him but if we get him we have to sell players we have way too many! Dont want us to sell anybody for him except maybe ba. But hope etoo chooses a slower league and joins inter again!

Maybe Essien could get shown the door.Moses is probably the player worth keeping just because of the homegrown rule, but neither of the players mentioned above are needed... Mikel is slow and clumsy on the ball in tight situations and Ba just feels lazy up front.
nadavTKL 1,787
After todays game, i cant belive how there are still people who would be against this signing. We started the game with Schurrle as a the striker! thats hom much Mourinho doesnt like what he have. If its not enough - Torres is the favourite out of the 3! Lukaku played like 30 minutes in 3 games. He surely isnt ready in Mou's eyes.Eto'o is got to come! (if rooney doesnt...) johnnythefirst 1,076
What's next? Hasselbaink? Shearer? Maradona?
The Rising Sun 711
Its a 1 year stop-gap.and he is still quality. So if we dont get Rooney, which is looking unlikely, Eto deal only has positives for us.

johnnythefirst 1,076
Yeah, cause thats the SameMy point was: Either get a world class striker, or work with the ones you have now. Eto'o went to Russia for the cash only. He's been taking it very easy ime. In a couple of months, you'll have two overpaid has-beens to deal with. Rooney would have been a far, faar better deal. Super-Mario 74
Lukaku would be a better option than Eto'o at this time.Lukaku has no experience. The pressure is high and it could damage his.mentality, if the media starts a campaign after some.shitty games.

The pressure is high and it could damage his.mentality, if the media starts a campaign after some.shitty games. No experience? It seems to me he scored more goals in the PL than Eto'o, right? He has no Chelsea experience because they don't seem to find the balls to put him in the team and give him a chance. You know what would damage his mentality? NOT PLAYING HIM.I don't mind him being a supersub, but come on? Putting Torres ahead of him? As a sub in a locked up game like this one? Sorry but I can only explain it as a total lack of thrust in his abilities...
