I have been a harsh critic of the guy in the past but the last few weeks have opened my eyes to the sort of quality he brings to the team. I can readily admit to being a bit over the top in my criticism at times. Hell of a work rate, a real team player. Compare the love guys like Azpi get for more or less the very same effort, work-rate and desire to play their part.This guy deserves his medal as much as anyone in the team.Disagree. Dissapeared in the 2nd mainly because he burned a lot of stamina, and played on the right wing. I think he has the potential, but he has to make that CAM spot his own and switch with Hazard. He is great when the ball is played in his path and he has to run for it and cross or pass, but he can take players on, by cutting inside. But he's been doing much better lately on the offensive end so fair play to him.Also I love the sight of his bouncy hair when he is running hard. Once he moves into the 10 role, suddenly he starts having a go. Everton to think of one. IMO I think Oscar will stay on the bench Mou won't risk him for 90. Laugh1ngMan 393 Posted April 29, 2015 Share Posted April 29, 2015 Imo he should always play in the number 10 in big games, he has that combination of atlethicism and technical ability that is hard to find and so far he has always looked great when he played in that position in tough games.And if Mou wants some more defensive stability by moving Cesc out of the pivot, I rather see him benched in favor of Willian retaining his place in the 10. Don't think Cesc should be guaranteed a starting place per se.Last season we were better in big games for a reason because we had a good balance between attack/defence that we somewhat lost this season.
