Sheva. 5,373
He never ever looks like scoring and doesn't even seem to care, it's painful. Ramires at RW is 100 times more dangerous. Blue-in-me-Veins
Tomo 21,751
He's just so painfully average. He'll always give you 6/10 but he's never a threat. He'll never win you games and he's the most predictable winger out there.I suppose that's why the majority of our fans prefer him to Oscar. You know what you're going to get with Willian while Oscar has a tendency to fluctuate from sublime to absolute dross. It's the "average" player's that often complete great teams.Everyone use to wonder why Fergie played Ji Sung Park. Blue-in-me-Veins 4,067
All you can is lol, to save yourself from crying at those numbers.Because Willian doesn't even put himself in positions to score, or even shoot ffs. Sheva.
kellzfresh 7,229
2013/2014: 35 starts + 10 sub apps - 4 goals + 7 assists2014/2015: 31 starts + 13 sub apps - 4 goals + 5 assistsThe main reason is he prefers passing back to ivanovic when he can't dribble or his crosses never get to anyone. He needs more vertical through passes to the running costa to get assists and he needs to get into the box anytime hazard dribbles into the box from the left to score more (cuadrado is better than him at this) Sheva.

LAB 1,030
Tbf the truth about his crosses is not that they are not good enough (most of the time), rather no one is ever there for a tap in or a header. So why do they snob him?
Popular Post! Badboy 1,526 Posted April 23, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted April 23, 2015 I hate the way people on this forum constantly fail to understand what a football team needs to succeed it really frustrates me and one of the reasons why I don't post much anymore. The problem is statistics are so misleading and can support many arguments ! Ruud Van Nistelrooy would get 25-30 goals per season but the whole team would be geared towards him achieving those statistics which is why they only won 1 league title in 5 seasons at united during his time as their centre forward. Van Nistelrooy required too much support for him to score those goals to the detriment of the team and it was no coincidence Man utd won a glut of premier league titles and a champions league as soon as he left the club ! Man Utd carried Van Nistelrooy because of his selfishness and also his vastly inferior physical capabilities in other words he wasn't the quickest or most physical of forwards. Fernando Torres was a star at Liverpool... why ? Liverpool geared their whole team around providing Fernando Torres the ammunition to score goals to the detriment of their whole team. Kalou was one of the most productive wingers lol ''statistically'' in the league during his time but for him to achieve those numbers he lost the ball more times then I can remember to the detriment of the team. Kalou had a prodcution rate of 10 goals and 10 assists for like 4 seasons lol 20+ overall production rate haha and he wasn't half the player Willian is. You always have to look and evaluate why someone is scoring so many goals or assisting so many and work out if hes doing it in a cost effective way or if he's doing it to the detriment of the team. Willian gives us great balance in the sense that he is a very sound footballer and he always gives us that crucial stability that we need to win games. Sir Mikel OBE 4,920
Willian is so underappreciated, a real shame. The FIFA generation. If he doesn't have a bunch of assists, or goals, then he isn't treasured by the average young kid. What he brings to the side is great though. Whether or not that is worth his price tag is another thing though....

Whether or not that is worth his price tag is another thing though....There's a difference between a bunch and barely any assists or goals. The only thing we can give him credit for atm is his workrate, but that's really not good enough imo. He has been better in the 2nd half of the season though, if he keeps this up he might change my opinion of him.

Give him a run in the #10 position and you guys will change your opinion about him. He's like Azpi, played out of position, so you can't expect him to shine there. But he's very vital for the system Mou plays. zolayes, Stats, Rambo and 2 others
