After reading about Scott Parker joining Fulham, I was looking to add this to his thread. Unfortunately he didn't have one, so I created this one. Has this guy played on all of the Big Clubs in London? I wasn't a real fan of his & I still believe the reason why Chelsea bought him in the first place, was to destabilize Charlton Athletic. Where are Charlton now since Parker left? Anyway, I won't look back in anger & remember that Parker won the league w/ CFC.

when we bought him he was the flavour of the month ,, Had played superbly against us ,,, That always got Roman interested .

With us he had injuries but was also impatient .. Could have been a useful squad player but no more.

Not sure why he's better than Fullham. He's an average player who had one above average season in 10-11. I think he could indeed have made a decent squad player here, but I can't see him anywhere near the Tottenham starting XI right now with all the Central Midfielders they have.

I believe he is better than Fulham, was it him that wanted to leave or Tottenham wanting him to go.?

I believe the English Players don't feel at home anymore @ spudz. Parker is the latest English player to leave the club.

It was Curbishley leaving that caused Charlton to nose dive down the league's, they were still just as good for a few years after Parker left, a couple of months into 05/06 they were at one point our closest challengers in the league :lol:
