Dont know if this has been posted. Ian Wright insists Jay DaSilva is better than any premier league LB. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3038246/Ian-Wright-says-Chelsea-UEFA-Youth-League-winner-Jay-Dasilva-better-Premier-League-left-back.html

Was about to mention that before you posted that. That is a fantastic compliment. Maybe went OTT to describe him as better than any current LB but it shows how much Wright was impressed by him. The youngest player on the pitch as well. I worry about his height in the long run but yeah fantastic talent. Despite his tender age, reads the game excellently in defence and attack and already has the experience of playing with the likes of Terry in our pre-season friendlies.

Nice article on WAGNH. Talks of the youth and ESPECIALLY Charlie Colkett. Looking at the last video, I must admit his skills are quite good. IMO better than Josh McEachran in his early days here.

When you consider who we had in our success last season. Brown, Christensen, Musonda, Boga, Solanke, RLC and all of them are unavailable due to loans and being over aged etc, it is amazing to see that the next crop have slotted in so well. Just shows how fanatstic the youth set up is and how talented the youngsters are. Clarke-Salter is a rock and deservedly got his first team debut against Villa. Another one who goes under the radar but is a huge talent is Tomori. Very fast, strong, good in the air, can play full back and CB very well. He most notably broke Diego Costa's nose in that training accident :D

Bring on PSG or Real!

Aynone can say something more how is Palmer playing this season? Last year he was scoring some screamers but overall people was saying he is not as good as our other young stars (Boga, Solanke, Musonda etc) How about this year?

He has been fantastic this season. He admitted himself that he was disappointed with how he performed last season as a whole. He has been a completely different story this season. Fantastic virtually every game for U19/U21. 15 goals for a player who is not a striker and does not take penalties says it all. Been fantastic. Will not be surprised to see him make his first team debut by some point come end of the season.

What is his exact position, who would you compare him to?

Let's not go there . It feels much sooner than it's been when he was strongly touted as our next academy player to make it..

He plays as a number 10. Can equally play out wide as well. I would say he is very similar to KDB tbh. Both have very good technique, both are no.10 who can also play out wide and both in rare cases can also do a job in the centre of midfield. Be very interesting to see his next step next season. Hopefully he can get a good loan move somewhere. Wonder if it will be in the Championship or Vitesse.
