Abraham looked like a guy with great technique

Really ? After watching him in 10+ games this season I have to disappoint you - his technique leaves a lot to desire, unfortunately :(:(

Finally (!) Boga and Musonda played together and it was very good. They're the most talented out there in terms of natural footballing talent. But Jeremie edges that for me due to his first team readiness with smooth technique, way of thinking combined with strong feet, balance and physical traits.

In a team which promotes youth, you should think that 5 of this players are going to end up in the first team in some time. Boga in Liverpool would be on a verge of first XI, if someone like Ibe is. For real, we'd read articles on Squawka how he is the best U20 youngster in Europe etc. His movement is full of that of first team player, his thinking, way to pass, way to create, one touch football and such natural close control, balance, acceleration and agility. Those quick burns of speed and stops are so Hazard. An extraordinary talent. If someone of you saw Hazard in Euro U17 for Belgium in 2007 similarity is about 99%. I just want to release Jeremie and let him play with Hazard ffs (porn stuff) :( If he had a little bit of attention, after few months, he'd be way better for the Premier League than Cuadrado with his excellent balance, strong feet and technique (features that Cuadrado is devoid greatly).

If Musonda had stayed in Anderlecht he'd be on par with Tielemans. Those 8 figures numbers floating around etc. He's got work ethic, tracks back, press apart from his quality going forward. You'd read how "complete and mature he is for his age".

Christiansen is very good defender for this age. I've watched tens of defenders at this age over the years and he's probably the best DEFENDER I saw. It's down to his calmness and positional awareness. 95% of young defenders are garbage in that aspects. He really has talent for this. But probably his skills on the ball are the most impressing. He is the best CB passer in the entire Chelsea. I think he'd have a great path in his career if he had stayed in Brondby. Now I don't know what's next with him, nobody knows probably.

RLC has stagnated, but is it surprising ? Last season was similar. When he was clearly above the level in 2013 you'd think that he needs the next challenge. He couldn't be loaned because he didn't have HG status, he was too young too for a loan move. So naturally he should get a couple of games in the first team. It didn't happen and motivation and desire went down. He looks actually less impressive than in 2013, but it's not surprising. He needs challenge, simple as that. That "stagnation" is not only his problem. But Mourinho said that he's going to play next season so let's wait for the next season. But I say this now, even IF RLC is going to breakthrough, after my natural excitement goes down, the reason of his promotion will be due to his size. There are players like Christiansen, Solanke, Boga, Musonda who are, in my opinion, similar/better talents, yet he has the size and Mourinho has the record of trusting young players with only dominant physical traits at young age, 6'2" at least. He haven't promoted someone like Boga or Musonda in his career yet. Is that because he is naturally defensive coach and looks for defender/midfield beasts to introduce ? Probably.

I'm delighted for the lads and I hope on Monday they prove formally what is known for some time for anyone that watches youths - Chelsea have an elite Academy and some of their products are on par with the best youngsters around. But you can't be overly ecstatic for well-known reason, sadly.

Maybe, because he does not play that much in our youth these days. The reason for that is because Mou made him a first team player and he does get zero minutes for us in the first team,so there was a time in the season where he had no match fitness.Baker also had the same problem.

No youth team action and no first team action is bad for your developtment because just training with the first team is not enough.

Yes,maybe he stagnates but he he is not a bad player. In the last youth team match against Spurs,he made a brilliant performance, but he got off with a head injury. He was by far the best player on that day.

Weird, whenever I watch a match he's almost always there for the U21s and U19s in Europe. I watched the Spurs match and we never looked like scoring and properly controlling the match after he came off, but that really has been the exception for him this season as far as I've seen.

Totally impressed by everyone except RLC, Musonda, and Solanke. The build up play between both sets of wingers and fullbacks was great to watch. Boga looked like he's outgrown this level of play. Colkett had a good game in both facets, really impressed. Just way too good for Roma.

Musonda was one of the best players on the pitch imo. Solanke was poor first half. Second half he improved. 2 goals eh. Can't complain.

That's why i was really surprised, because he looked good and noone ever mentioned that before.Guess it was just few nice moves.

Can you tell me what do you think about Solanke technique? I mean passing, ball control, first touch?

And what do you think about Jay Dasilva - guy looked really good and is the youngest there playing?

1) http://forum.talkchelsea.net/topic/19150-35-dominic-solanke/?p=1077113

2) I really like Jay Dasilva. Rate him both as an offensive and defensive full-back. He's very mature. Normally you have someone who is complete garbage in defence in that age. Technically he's very good, he's fast, agile and has good nose when to join the attack. However, it's his tactical game that impress me the most. All in all he's potentially brilliant full-back in both sides of the pitch. It's not surprising that he plays U21 football when he's 16 - he's ready for that. He is way more of an European player than typical English . It's actually surprising, because in England you have guys like Aina and hundreds of others who are about pace and physicality while Dasilva is more tactical player.

However he's very small lad. He is like 1,64m I think. I don't know if England is good place for him even though he's English.

I think that he's SIMILAR (I mean VERY) to Jose Gaya from Valencia. The Spaniard is hot prospect for many top clubs after only one season. I'd love if Dasilva was loaned someone to Spain where he'd be appreciated more. I fear that in England he will be lost due to his lack of size.

So yeah, I rate him very highly. After Boga and Musonda he's my next the most liked youngster.

does nobody care that we just scored in the final? (Brown)

anyway it's scarily uncanny how similar Musonda plays to Hazard. I lurrrv it. i don't think he's behind Boga at all in terms of being 'ready', he's so special that his height and such isn't as much of a factor as it is with other players. if he just gets the ball out from his feet even quicker so he can start winning more freekicks i'll be wiping sweat off my forehead over him hopefully in no time
