Until we know who we have and what other teams have its incredibly hard to say.

ATM:

Top 2 in the league.

Semi's FA

Semi's League

Semi's CL.

Minimum would be top 3, but much closer points wise, a couple of quarters and a semi.

I think on the outset, the club should pursue a (atleast) 10-point improvement on this season i.e achieve consistency and have more than 2-3 purple patches over the course of a season.

Champions League is an incredibly hard competition and Jose should look to build that "hard-to-beat" mentality we had in 07-08-09

FA Cup and League Cup - This should be fairly straight-forward for Jose. Should look to make it to Wembley at the very least

+ Squad development - Integrate 1-2 youngsters into the squad.

Depending on the strategy Mourinho enforces, with the whole Lukaku, Kevin and youth etc. adding depth as well as the kind of transfer that could happen. For me we should seek for a final in all competitions and a title challenge, raise the bar when the other contenders are down, as i say. If we decide to enforce the youth as depth, and a somewhat intelligent rotation between the competitions, with the talent at our disposal we could go all in for all competitions.

I have always thought we have needed to win the League Cup in the last couple of years, hopefully the youth players and fringe players can step up to the task.

I have voted:

1) League is not a priority

2) Semi-Finals will do

3) Clear group stages

Reasons:

A) My expectations are low - whilst Rafa got us some silverware - we have a lot of dead wood and players out on loan, now whilst its easy to say they are playing great at their respective loan club, we need to integrate those players into Chelsea - that wont happen overnight.

B) in addition to the above, we'll also likely sign a few more players - this will amplify the issue somewhat, now of course it's possible to get a team working quickly, but it isn't the norm! So limiting my expectations accordingly.

C) We need a good steady burn from a manager not a flash and then darkness and I truly believe we can achieve this. The problem however is going to be the press and our own fans - they are going to expect Chelsea to dominate again - I'm not sure this is possible with our overall squad next season.

D) I really hope we have a Plan B to the 4-2-3-1 formation and I think this will take time to evolve - so again not trying to rush anything

Finally - just hoping for calm - obviously if we do better than my expectations I will be absolutely delighted - but I no longer believe in the 'magic bullet' scenario (sign x player, sign y manager) - to win consistently a lot of things have to be kept running and that is tough ;)

Roll on the official announcement and next season though :)

Instant success, definitely. With Jose at the helm, the least we should expect is either Champions League or league title glory. We should win at least one of these, but league title is priority for me.

PL is a must. we have a good squad (which includes players on loan) and a few decent signings (de rossi/witsel, cavani) plus selling off the dead wood like torres, marin, (malouda and yossi already gone) would make us stronger. add to it the fact that united would totally be revamped and city being city, we should be winning the title this year.

FA cup is a maybe but i would prefer either one of FA/COC to get the ball rolling.

CL- well when u compare our squad to BM, RM, BARCA, we just dont have the juice and now not even that X-factor that won us the 1st one (DIDIER DROGBA). quarters/semis would be good enough,

Title challenge is first and most important - need to improve our point deficient on the league from this season. And maybe either FA Cup or League Cup - even the Super Cup (although that will be real test to see how we compare to Bayern).

Hopefully a good CL run!

But it depends what system Jose uses and what players come in/out. Overall with Jose at the helm, we should realistically have at least a trophy at the end of the season!

Premier League is clearly the priority. José has the ability to bring some consistency in the squad which was one of the main issues this season. We didn't play that bad against the top oppositions, it was the losses and dropped points against WBA, West Ham, QPR, Southampton etc that broke our legs. If we can get some quality signings in like Cavani and a world-class CM, I'm sure we can challenge the title which should be our priority in my opinion.

After a disappointing last CL campaign I'm happy if we make it into the quarter finals. Depending on the opposition, we'll have to see if the semi is necessarry. I'm sure we'll make it at least to Wembley in the FA Cup. I don't care about the Capital One Cup, but I'm sure José wants to win it all.

I would not be too disappointed if we don't lift a trophy at the end of next season, but surely we have a chance. What we should be focussing on, is bringing consistency and depth into the squad. I'd love to see us performing an unique kind of playing like that fast counter-attacking football José has always loved.

Title challenge, comfortable top3 finish at the very least

Champions League QFs

FA Cup semis

League Cup doesn't matter

Win the USC

Priority should be to cement our position as potential title winners with the Manchester clubs from 2014 onwards and any success in the coming season is a bonus. All this depends on the new signings of course, if we succeed in the market my expectations may be a bit higher by the start of the season.

Regarding the Champions League next season, the likes of Milan, Barcelona (even with Neymar IMO), Madrid (unless they get some proper top in like Ancelotti), Arsenal, Dortmund etc. all seem to be falling while our players our only getting better. Even PSG have looked weak in the league this season and with Monaco now in Ligue 1 they'll have to focus even more on the league.

I think if we were to get lucky and avoid Juventus + Man City/United later on in the competition we could be having another Chelsea - Bayern final.

Nope, it doesnt work like that!

Barcelona will get better with the introduction of Neymar and a proper CB, but above all, is Messi being Messi that will place them amongst the top contenders once again. Madrid without Mourinho is a better team in itself, a decent coach and maybe Suarez will definitely make a difference. Milan wont lose any players from what we know and Allegri will be more experienced. Arsenal cant get any worse, lol, and Wenger is thought to go big (for their standards) in the transfer market (Julio Cesar, Higuain, etc). Dortmund, until now, has only lost two players and if they go for the likes of Romarinho/Bernard and Dzeko, I would say they are still a threat to anyone. Juventus will get their striker and will be completed. ManCity are free of Mancini and that is already one huge step towards UCL. And Bayern, well, is Bayern!

Chelsea will absurdly improve and we will be equally fighting with the best teams in all competitions. Mourinho, the new players and the more experienced Hazard, Oscar, etc will prove to be a great combination. However, it is not as easy as you say...
