Reus > Griezmann.

We need creativity, not direct play, as much if a good player as Antoine is.

I don't disagree Reus is the better player, but why do Chelsea need creativity?

Hazard and Cesc were top 3 in chances created, and only Chelsea had 2 players in the top 10 creators list in the PL.

I think Fabregas would create even more chances if he had another intelligent forward to spot apart from Costa.

(If Chelsea need another creator, it's at DM for when Cesc can't play, not in the attacking positions imo)

Reus is undoubtedly a better player for me and I agree that we need creativity but Griezmann is very good player with fantastic movement and elite technique. He adds goals to the side and not frustrate like Schurrle and Salah with poor first touch and ball control. I don't think that Griezmann means that no other offensive player will be bought. There are rumours about Oscar going in exchange with Juventus for Pogba, PSG are interested in him, Real maybe with Benitez going there also there are rumours about Cuadrado going back to Italy.

Oh and about Griezmann http://gianlucadimarzio.com/en/calciomercato/vietto-admitsshould-atletico-pay-release-clause-i-could-leave-villareal/

"I can't guarantee anything about my future. My idea is to stay here, but should Atletico Madrid pay the exit clause in my contract, I will decided with my family and my agent. We'll make the right decision"

Until this Friday, the forward had not put his cards on the table and spoken of possibly leaving the club. He did so as a message to Atlético. He was blunt in a statement to 'Radio Villarreal': "I can't say what might happen in the future, but my aim is to be here when pre-season starts. If Atlético offer €20m I'll talk it through with my family and agent. We'll try and come to the best decision, but I think everybody wins if they meet my buyout clause".

If Atletico buy Vietto, Griezmann is close I think.

Not really. If Mandzukic goes to Milán, they need another striker.

Atletico are reportedly interested in Icardi, Cavani and Higuain.

Atletico are more likely to sign Vietto from Villarreal than those three. Cost only around 15 million pounds due to the release clause in his contract.

The question is if they are targeting Cavani, Icardi or Higuain for the CF spot, and Vietto (who is more mobile) to 2nd Stiker spot. Mandzukic is destined to be sold, if they know Griezmann could leave than they need 2 players.

Reus had a very poor season. Please take a look at the game against Wolfsburg. He can't finish the game off.

On the other hand Griezmann had a spectacular season. Yes, he can do better against Real Madrid in the Champions-League,
but overall he isn't so injury prone and his potential is extraordinary.
Reus development has regressed in the last years. I prefer Griezmann, even if he is more expensive than Reus!

Costa straight swap for Grizemann will be fine too if he is unhappy for me. Only concern I have with Grizemann is while he is quick he is not Walcott type quick and his fitness in intensive big games are questionable judging by him being routinely substitued 1st most of the time against big sides for Atletico.

He missed the first part of the season, and also had injury problems after the winter break. I don't think this is the best season to judge him.

Agreed overall he is still an amazing player judging from the past 5 years. However we can see how quickly things change in football, maybe those ankle injuries did him harm in the long term more than we know now. Look at Gundogan, since 2013 he has never been the same and now on Bayern forums they are annoyed that they are being linked with him, even the Dortmund Director had to come out and encourage bids because no one want him anymore.

Imo this next season will be the best to judge Reus as to whether he has fully recovered.

The season before wasn't great either.

Especially in the first half of the season 2013/2014 he was poor. Look at his finishing, he wasted a lot chances.

He is an opportunity killer!

The second half of the season 2013/2014 he was better. Even though the first game against Real Madrid was abysmal, yeah the second one was pretty good.

In my point of view Reus isn't a big game player. He was poor in the Champions-League final against Bayern Munich, he continued to be poor against Bayern Munich in the DFB cup final and this year, he was disastrous against Wolfsburg in the cup final.

At the biggest stage, he can't handle the pressure and isn't able to lead his team to glory.

That's a generell problem for him.

He failed to accomplish the test for his driving license. He is afraid and handles the pressure not very well, he admitted to that in the past!

Griezmann isn't that sensible. He consistently improves. I think he has what it takes to be a game changer.

But do we really need Griezmann at Chelsea?!

I don't think so because Mourinho likes Willian and despite the fact that he is a very good number 10, he will continue playing on the right side.

Ivanovic is one of Mourinhos most trusted lieutenants and Willian is necessary to cover the space when he goes forward.

I agree, but Dortmund won't be playing at the same level next season.
