Strike 7,491
Good thread - little similar to the Summer transfer window thread but it's good to see users' opinion on summer activity in one thread. I'll be very realistic. Lewandowski to Chelsea doesn't seem to be happening and Dortmund won't sell Gotze, Lewandowski AND Gundogan in the same window. Ins:- Schurrle - £20mBenat - £16mLukaku - loan returnOuts:- Michael Essien - £14mLampard - Benayoun - Ferreira - Hilario - Malouda - all FreeTotal: - £17m

We'll have a hard time finding 8 HG players if we keep selling guys like Sturridge, Turnbull etcI don't see any harm in keeping him. He isn't taking any space up in the squad, and he would be a decent third-choice keeper to have in the side should Courtois come back.

The Skipper 20,609
yes. i hope his contract is extended I hope we get a more competent second choice goalkeeper. Someone like Asmir Begovic who has been linked with us before, if interested, would be an excellent second choice goalkeeper as he's homegrown as well. Yes with Turnbull as 3rd choice. we can hide 2 HG players as backup GK's then
The Skipper 20,609
Yes with Turnbull as 3rd choice. we can hide 2 HG players as backup GK's thenI'd rather promote Blackman. We'll have something like Cech/Begovic/Blackman. Really no need to give Ross a new contract IMO.
