TC choice Chelsea player of the year

Since the voting has started in the official website for the fans choice player of the season, I thought we should have a TC choice Chelsea player of the season. So who, in your opinion, has been the best, and why?

For me the best has probably been Mata, but since loads of people are going to vote for him, I voted for Azpi because I think he has been instrumental for us this season. Absolutely terrific especially if you consider that this is his first season in the league.

Obviously Mata will win it, but I vote for Luiz (no bias, I promise ) simply because he has reminded everyone of his potential this season.

My top three players this season?

1. Mata

2. Luiz

3. Azpilicueta, who's had an excellent first season.

It's Juan Mata.

Sure you could make a case for players like David Luiz (most improved) or Eden and Azpi because it's their first season, but it's Mata.

In fact if we're doing a top three I'd have it as

It's a matter of opinion, but I don't think anyone would have even considered Rami for player of the season 2-3 months ago. In fact, people were calling for his head and wanted him sold in the summer (that is not my opinion, I'm just saying..)
