lucio 5,418
Remind me again why he was sold. I could never make sense of it.In late August 2005 Tiago signed for Essien's former club on a four-year contract, for a €10.1 million transfer fee.[4][5] Mourinho later confessed in an interview that letting him go was "a big mistake. Spike 12,049
What could have been. This is the only player I feel regret for selling too early. He was young too, only 23...
BlueLion. 21,491
Why did we sell him?Answer:
nyikolajevics 2,700
He's seems to be very nervous. I like him a lot, I hope they win the trophy.
Duppy Conqueror 1,538
It did seem abit rash at the time..he was growing into the solid player he has become..we did have an epic midfield during his time here and in the few years that followed tho so just one of those good players that great clubs look for better than. quickpassnmove 924
Ready to return on a free transfer apparently.Makes me HAPPY!!!http://www.marca.com/2014/05/27/en/football/spanish_football/1401192876.htmlhttp://www.itv.com/sport/football/update/2014-05-27/mourinho-eyes-tiago-deal/
The Skipper 20,609
Why does that make you happy? Would rather give someone like Chalobah a chance ahead of signing Tiago. Even if on a free, it would be a pretty bad signing IMO.
Special Juan 28,141
What a stupid move this would be.

The only place to be 11,313
Random. As a replacement for Luiz and Mikel (possibly even Lamps) then he might make sense on a short-term contract whilst the younger guys ease their way into the first-team.There aren't many players who are free, know the manager, know the club, know this league (and how to win it) and whose last two games were winning La Liga at the Camp Nou and the Champions League final.Still....random. Smells a bit ManicheyAlso, this
lucio 5,418
i wouldnt turn him down for free. could replace mikels back up DM role.
Beepu 1,714
Had an amazing season under Simeone and would add quality depth. I would only sign him on top of another quality midfielder though, and if the signing meant to only be a stop gap to give way for Chalobah/RLC the season after. CHOULO19 24,332
Merged with the existing Tiago thread.Surprising, but wouldn't be a bad deal on a free. He's experienced, has played at a very high level for very long, and showed this season that he can still be perform very well despite his age. Plus, he scored this goal... petre.ispirescu 4,928
Gotta admit, never been a fan of him, but he looks decent as a squad player. And he is coming after a couple of good seasons, too.He is a guy you would like to have in your locker room. Simeone praised him many times for his attitude.Good deal. The Skipper 20,609
i wouldnt turn him down for free. could replace mikels back up DM role....or we could just let Chalobah become our back up DM.
