Can see why de Gea's in there but Ferdinand? Of course David Luiz(Couldn't be having more than two chelsea players) wouldn't be nominated but what about Jagielka, Koscielny or Ashley Williams.

Nastasic has been the best CB in the league in this season, imo. Criminal that he's not in there.

He has his moments, and he's certainly improved, but still lacks consistency and is miles behind the likes of Cech. For me, Begovic, Cech and even Mingolet (who's criminally underrated) deserve it more.

De gea has saved united's ass countless times this season.For me on current form de gea is atleast equal to cech and certainly better then begovic and mignolet(both of them are top goalkeepers as well).

Yes he had a bad couple of months and was benched but he cameback stronger then ever.In the 2nd half of the season he has truly shown why united paid big money for him.

Carrick isn't underrated, he's just been good this season and has deservedly been recognized for it.

Most underrated player in the PL for me has to be Morgan Schneiderlin.

its funny how united fans act as if Carrick has been their most important player this season when if you were to have swapped him for any of Arteta, Mikel, Parker or Barry ect they still would have won the league this season! United fans act like he is Xavi's level! terribly overrated player!

Carrick was easily Uniteds best player this season. But that only tells you how awefully average this whole United squad is.

Mata should be player of the season for me. Biased oppion of course, but surely not Suarez. The only competition coming from Bale, obviously.

I think for a player in his second season in the league, Mata deserves it most.
