Get the boys rested for this ahead of the big one on sunday. Kazan didnt show much to worry last Thursday but with the way we play from one week to the next nothing is certain. I dont give a monkeys about this diluted Champions league comp but we are near the end now so may as well go for it. Id like to see Cech, Ivan ,JT, Cahill (is he fit?),Bertrand ,Lamps ,Davy Lou, Moses,Mata(for safety) Marin and torres. Id actually like a few kids in the line up but thats not gonna happen.

Azpilicueta has just played 4 games in 9 days. He needs to be rested for this one especially with City coming up next Sunday. Benitez mentioned the possibility about playing Ferreira in the 1st leg but went with Azpi because of his stamina levels. Hope he realized Azpi looks a tad tired out there today and is one of the few that needs a rest.

Not even Rafa is mad enough to play our strongest Team against Rubin IMO. he surely will start either Yossi or Marin, Moses for sure and one of the maestros, probably Oscar. Which makes Btw is Cahill fit?

I know several of their supporters and I will be at the match. They expect to attack much more strongly than they did at Stamford Bridge. Rafa will probably play Terry - but it will be a risk. Our defence will have to be well-organised and cool-headed . By the 20 minutes mark we should go on the attack and try to even out their away goal average. After that, a tight defence should get us through. The main aim should be to get the result without injuries and without exhausting the players. People should not expect "entertaining football". Winning this round is more important. Torres will be important for us.
