Everything is relative. I mean, Torres isnt bad either, if you compare to a league two striker. Same goes with Yossi. He's just not good enough for Chelsea.

No one is hoping for him to get a contract extension. I def agree that he isn't good enough for Chelsea but I think he's better than Torres and Marin. Sad but true imo.

I don't get the hate for Yossi. Yeah he's nothing special, he's going to leave in the summer but he's a decent player and Marin hasn't shown anything to get another start for Chelsea. I actually don't think Yossi is a bad player, I don't mind him at all.

He's OK as a squad player for this year. I think people really dislike veteran players anyway, but veterans who are average are hated. (same was with Kalou, Bosingwa, Malouda, etc...) Part of it is that people don't appreciate the massive gap between even average players in the Premier League and youth players and people want everyone on the team to be superstars or possible superstars.
