Stats 7,142
Scored another 2 this afternoon in a 4-2 victory over WBA. Now reading that he is on 16 goals and 10 assists for the season. What a season he has had for a CM including making his first team debut Hopefully a loan at a championship team is on the cards for next season. Chelsea Legend 11 4,062
He's ahead of McEachran in my eyes. Puts in a tackle and scores a fair amount of goals. will be interested in seeing what happens to him in the next few years. blu35_army and The Skipper
Chelsea Legend 11 4,062
Really liking this kid. he has something the others don't, end product! He needs an aggressive loan soon.
blu35_army 551
hope between Liecester / Burnley / Derby will loan him next season, he reminds me like Young lampard but with better Passing and Free kick...

The only place to be 11,313
Fantastic improvisation because the ball is played a little bit behind him, but the most impressive thing about him is I'm pretty sure he could do that on his left-foot too. Madmax 9,219
Gotten used to not harbouring hopes for the Academy lads in terms of a future in Chelsea's first team but even so, if Baker doesn't make it I'll be crushed.
haranr 485
He is brilliant. Next year he should be loaned to a Premier League side. Chelsea Legend 11

CHOULO19 24,332
Full highlights if anyone is interested:http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1r1fqn_chelsea-u21s-v-arsenal-highlights_sportIf I'm not mistaken, this is the match that guaranteed we finish the regular season on top of the U21 table (and obviously we qualify for the play-offs). That's really remarkable considering that all our best U21 players are out on loans!
Sidzeret 2,257
I'll play him against the bloody Scousers this week. Infact, I'll play just our reserves for this match just to piss the FA and the English media off.

BloodIsBlue 291
They'd love it. Handing Liverpool the league, what would they hate? But Liverpool want to say their first BPL league win was legit, they don't want it tarnished by people saying it was handed to them. yuvala
BlueLyon 9,359
Baker shows we have amazing academy but bad first team integration...As much as I hope to see RLC-Baker at some point, I dont expect it. The board, owner, expectations, coach, playing style, history tells there wont be much chance for the likes like Baker, RLC, Feruz,...I hope he makes it though Joker10 and The Chels
kellzfresh 7,229
I think we shouldn't buy any CM's again. We should try out RLC, Baker and Vanginkel next season beside matic. They can comfortably take lampard and mikel's spots in the team and finally give our youths inspiration that they can make it here. There need to be a Chelsea B team, its hard to integrate players when you are relaying on other teams to help and develop our kids to make the jump. Simply being at the mercy of other teams to develop our players is pretty shitty.

Simply being at the mercy of other teams to develop our players is pretty shitty. Another problem is that academy plays completely diferent style of football than senior team. Different philosophy etc. One reason why Barca or Ajax academies are great is because youth and senior players play in same system and style.
