English Freak 456
Good game by Chelsea.Hazard is gonna be an amazing player sooner rather than later..Great to see Lampard score his 200th goal for the club.We got the 3 points...still think we need a new CB...neither Luiz or Cahill looked that good.. bluephoenix 1,131
awesome ... worth waking up at 8am to witness the sensation called Hazard like many pointed, Cahill and Luiz looked shaky at the back !Very very poor game for Ba ... so so many one on one with the keeper went begging ! Rupert 130
Oh yeah any day of the week. 2nd place would just glorify rafaSo, let's get this straight. You don't want Chelsea to be 2nd because people would credit Rafa? Nuff said!

OneMoSalah 8,886
Hazard was unreal. His off the ball work impressed me today as well, I think Rafa deserves credit for that. His link up with Mata today was also very very good, hes getting better and better each game I see him. Good team selection today too by Rafa. MetsajCFC 1,255
Hazard was immense but I noticed our full backs very rarely bomb forward now, worked defensively. Only worry we really had was Carroll's physical presence, well done to players and Rafa
Muzchap 8,966
Great result!Well played to the team, Mata was amazing, but Hazard!!! Wow - best game so far IMHO - tiredness, what's that?BA is suffering massively from rotation his confidence is shot - but he worked hard and put a great shift in!To those wondering why we need a DLP - see Lampards through ball to BA - if we are going to persist with the pivot (sigh) then we need a Modric type player - I would love KdB to be this player, so fingers crossed. So annoyed at the International break - we were just building some nice momentum and the atmosphere was great - didn't hear any boo's etc. really hope we have turned the corner on that now 2nd IS achievable! Lets do it and grab some of the extra money to offset the CL money we missed out on!

BlueLion. 21,491
Coming from 0-2 down at Old Trafford to force a replay; getting through to ANOTHER European quarter-final (our third in three seasons); and now beating WEST HAM in a LONDON DERBY with Lampard netting his 200th goal and Hazard committing the closest thing legally possible to rape (with the use of a football).Fantastic week, The fight is back, the determination is back and more important the belief is back. And suddenly, as a fan, my pride is back. Absolutely jubilant today - I don't normally wear football shirts out and about but I'll be wearing one at uni today. The only place to be 11,313
The most satisfying thing was actually the clean sheet for me. There's still that nagging fear in the back of my head that we could ship two goals when we've got a two-goal lead but we held on yesterday despite having to make a shuffle. And the changes made sense. I said to my mate that I hoped he brought on Mikel for a bit of protection and a minute later he did. The best thing i can say is that it felt like an old-fashioned (circa 2005) Chelsea win, although with a bit more clnical finishing it could've easily have been 5 or 6 goals to us.It must be noted that West Ham were poor and missing some key players, which allowed us to totally dominate the midfield without having to worry too much about them hitting us. A better team would've taken advantage of the lack of midfield protection. I'd also ignore Carroll's dominance in the air - no he isn't worth £35 million but the guy is still one of the biggest aerial threats in the league. On his day he can dominate any defence and sometimes you just have to throw your hands up and accept he's going to win a fair few headers. What you have to do is cut them off at source (which we didn't do quite enough of, especially late on when some players got a bit lazy with tracking back) or clean up the knock-downs which we did fairly well. But a good, solid result and one that might ease the anxieties of the crowd. Hazard continues to improve (like I said he would) and is building an amazing rapport with Mata. Lamps got his 200th in the best game possible and Rami put in another hard-working shift. All in all, a great weekend. Spurs dropping points is great, but it should make everyone realise how tough that Fulham game will be for us. Could've done without Arsenal winning, but it puts more pressure on Spurs than us at this moment. A four point cushion is surmountable in this league, which does make second place a viable target for us but I think third is still the most realistic target.Despite all that, four games in eight days will probably decide our season. Yup only our 2nd clean sheet under RB?I think we have to aim for 2nd - will stop complacency if we can keep this form going, no reason why not... I think the table could end upMan UChelseaMan CArsenalWith Spuds losing out again, Adebayor (sp?) isn't doing much, Defoe isn't doing much and Bale cannot win every game for them...At least we have Mata, Hazard, Oscar, Lampard as goal threats along with BA and er Torres... Think Spurs will run out of steam.
