Townsend very much like Adam Johnson.

His long shots are pretty impressive I got to say. but other than that, his crossing sometimes are a little subpar, (maybe because makie or zamora didn't make the most of it)

Okay, before the game starts, I would like to say this.... If we lose or draw this game by throwing away a lead, I will NOT be responsible for any form of outburst that I post on here!

I think this game will prove if we really have been utter bellends at not signing a new central midfielder! I expect to win this game, and nothing more!!

Mata has to start. with no moses and hazard, if mata doesn't play then our chance of winning goes way down.

But long term an injury to Mata would aggravate the situation even more. Mata is brilliant but as exhausted as he is right now, he is not half as effective as when fresh that is why he is always so much brighter in the earlier part of the season. Truth is we do not know exactly how our play would change in case we rest him and hand the playmaking duty to Oscar, we have more than one player able to create. We have been succesfull before Mata arrived and can also do without him. to some extent there always is s.o. to step up. We shall not waste his abilities by overusing him.
