I really dont know how choosing a defender over a CF when you are winning a match, under pressure and when there are no more than 15 minutes left is a stupid move as you were suggesting. The stupid move was not making the change at half time, or at least 5/10 mins after the first half, which put us in a terrible position throughout the second half. No, Rafa decides to start with his golden boy and instead we go in 2-0 up at half time. Then Walcott scores after Torres just flops over like a puppet clown and he still didn't bring our stronger and more in form striker. This nearly cost us another 2-0 lead at home when the change was soo apparent to over a few million Chelsea fans. That's why people are pissed off with a wanker who once called us wooden fans with no passion a man who is meant to be a world class manager. It is as simple and obvious as that.I like posts like yours because it shows the world that the Chelsea "fans" who boo and attack Rafa are actually pretty thick. Amazing in the first-half, but felt for sure this was another Southampton. Didn't want to be there when I saw Torres was in the starting line-up, but his presence wasn't a distraction when we were in control. When we were under pressure though, he was completely useless most of the time. A couple of nice runs and skinning Vermaelen mean his fans finally have something to beat off to that wasn't pre-Obama but leaving Ba on the bench almost cost us 3 points.Hard for me to vote for anyone in that midfield as MOTM because again, that's where we very nearly lost the game but Ramires didn't stop running all day.
