Our fans aren't booing all the time at home. They booed after 90 minutes against Swansea. They were still trying to encourage the side until the end. They still sing the same songs on the road. I heard "We don't care about Rafa" and "One Di Matteo" etc.. in away games as well. These are players used to playing in front of supporters yelling horrible things at them. You make it sound as if when we're away, the fans are completely supportive and at Stamford Bridge, it's a constant tirade of insults. The truth is that we're just an inconsistent team right now. That's it.

They are not booing all the time, but I know that once we have a bad spell in the match or concede then u hear one or two negative chants distracting the players. That spell in the first 20mins against everton and stoke if it happened at the bridge, the negative chants come out and pile more unnecesary pressure on the team.

I'm not saying it is the FULL reason why we don't peform, I'm saying its PART of the reason, and it definately ADDS to why we don't peform.

You underestimate the effect of YOUR OWN SUPPORTERS booing or showing negative posters which the players notice during conerkicks or any break in play.

Oh Spike, even drunk I am a better searcher than you! :clown:

Nadine Bastos

I don't care about her. I was looking for that Pommie one. Besides you do know that Google refines you searches depending on history and location? You being a Brazillian nut Google would have that woman's pictures at higher priority than the Pommie's.

Suck it.

It burns you that a non-Chelsea fan can prove an idiot like you wrong, doesn't it? Fucking gronk..

I don't know what your problem is but calling people twats because they disagree with you isn't the most gracious of behaviour. Stop trying so hard.

LOL. Not trying at all actually.. I just tell it how i see it.

Calling people who support the club 'twats' for disagreeing on the contract status of a player after he has a pretty good game isn't the way Chelsea supporters tend to treat one another. ;)

LOL. Your an idiot mate... And I'll say it again, Anybody who agrees with the club in letting Lampard go is an absolute Fucking Twat..

Even If Frank had 10 terrible games in a row, I would still not let him go. A player with is brain, experience, energy, passion, and love for the club will probably come along once every 30 years. If we are lucky..

If we let our experience go, we are no better then Arsenal.

We aren't becoming Arsenal if we let him go. You realise we'll still have experienced players all over the pitch don't you? Plus the problem at Arsenal wasn't as simple as you suggest it was. They let their best players leave without replacing them, and under-invested in the first-team. We don't show any signs of doing that.

We're actually looking to replace him with players who are better suited to the position he plays.

I have absolutely no doubt there are better players out there at the moment. Even though the style of play has changed, we still need Frank at the club. He is so important! I've followed Frank ever since he played for West Ham. I remember my brother telling me about this "Young bloke" who is Harry's nephew, and to watch him close. I was new to the Premier League and being only 15 at the time, i didn't really take notice. When Chelsea signed him in 01 i was pretty excited (as you would with any signing in those days). I thought he was a decent player but i never really noticed him till his second season and the first game vs Charlton?? where he scored the winner. I knew we had somebody special.

Throughout the years he instantly became one of my favourite Chelsea players. Not just because of what he did on the pitch, but because his teammates were always giving him wraps about how he was the first on the training pitch and last to leave. His work ethic and extra work with the youth teams was always in the pipeline. He was Chelsea through and through. Among all the players we paid big dollars for, he was still the one leading the team from the front. Not some French, or Spanish or Italian bloke. Frank.. It's not like with Man City. They don't have that "Frank Lampard" type player, an Englishman who cemented his position on the team no matter who they bought in. That's why they will never be as successful as us, and that's why we can't let him go.

I don't expect you to understand, but Frank should never be on anybody else's sideline. He should retire with us, take a year or two off to do his certificate and come right back as an assistant coach.

I don't see him going into coaching if I'm being totally honest.

As for the rest of your post, I don't disagree but I don't think it's that pertinent going forward. The nationality of the players has always been secondary to their contribution to the team, but I'd love for the likes of Chalobah and McEachran to establish themselves in the team. For that to happen though we do need to let the older players move on. Now is the right time for Frank to move on in my opinion. That doesn't make me a twat, okay?
