OneMoSalah 8,886
Gave Rio another beating today, played like he did vs United when Newcastle won 3-0. Next on Demba's list: Bramble and Kompany.

Jase 43,479
Great game today! All the more reason why he should be played over Torres whenever possible! And his goal today was rather similar to the one he scored for Newcastle last season against United. NiclasCFC 2,582
What drog was he on today? Because he certainly added some Drog to his Ba. Man that was bad. No but seriously, it felt like playing with Drogba over a long time. Held the ball up, good link up, won aerial battles, had a fantastic finish. Simply put: dominant and deserved his MOM award.Thats genius mate! manpe
The only place to be 11,313
Thought he was brilliant today in every aspect of his play and could be an important player for us beyond this season. Held the ball up well, brought other players into the game with his runs and took his goal superbly. Does raise the question of whether we need another big striker (Falcao, Cavani etc.) in the summer if we have this guy and Lukaku. semiller1313 and kellzfresh
juko 19
it's already better than Torres(it's not difficult) but he's not world class. how many balls has he lost when he had to potected it. he's not very fast though and his header game is good or not? DDA 9,941
Made Carrols second yesterday against WBA look easy.Another player I have seen taking some stick from peoole on this forum saying he isn't good enough to Play for us. If todays performance didn't prove that he is fit to wear the shirt then I guess we need a striker who plays like Falcao did against us in the UEFA Super cup in every game for people to be happy! Rambo 1,729
He reminds me of Anelka in a way with his mannerisms and ability to finish the ball.
OneMoSalah 8,886
Great goal. Needs to start more often. Think his link up and hold up play is underrated by a lot of people on here and on twitter.
adyfosiel 4
Superb finish, although some of Man U fans said there were a bit of luck. Who cares? He needs to start more often on Non-Europe League matches.

Santiago. 1,500
Can't believe we played half a season with a handicap spainard who contributes nothing but Bad touches, static movement, poor touches, tactical unawareness, and making us play with ten men, yet he gets paid six digits a week for it. Disgusting

We have something beautiful going on here (talking about a striker that scores), no need for it to snowball into yet another extensive discussion that involves you-know-who. BlueLion. 21,491
Beautiful goal and a wonderful celebration from Demba.5 goals in 15 matches (10 starts) is actually a very good return considering he has been rotated ridiculously. It's not easy coming to a new club; especially a club like Chelsea that doesn't even properly use strikers. Our forwards act more like attacking foils, so for Demba to score five goals in ten starts is nice to see!
