Haven't got a clue why he took that penalty. Why? For confidence? Who actually cares about his confidence anymore? Seriously, because I, for one, am sick to death about Torres and his stupid 'confidence'. The harsh reality is that it's an excuse for being shit. He's so god damn emotional about every little thing that doesn't go his way, it really is like having a ladyboy up front. Man the fuck up, if a decision doesn't go your way, you get up and get on with it. Also, I'm sick of fans cheering for him when he wins a fucking throw in or a corner. We must be the only fans in the history of the world to cheer someone for such little contribution. Sad really. I'd rather the penalty was given to Hazard or Oscar. Helping and improving these players should be our only priority, since it looks like Torres will be on his way out in the summer. Especially when you consider Clarke came out today and said Lukaku will be coming back to Chelsea next season.

Was watching Chelsea TV a couple hours ago and they were showing the West Ham game when he scored his first goal for Chelsea... And in my life ive never seen a player given so much love after scoring a goal (not crucial, just your ordinary everyday goal) against a relegation team. Chelsea captain John Terry has backed team-mate Fernando Torres to prove his doubters wrong and go on a goalscoring spree in the final two months of the season.

Torres scored only his second goal in 20 games in Thursday's Europa League win over Steaua Bucharest to help fire Chelsea to the quarter-finals.

The former Liverpool man has come in for criticism again this season for some below-par performances, but Terry insists the Spain international has the full backing of his team-mates.

"It only takes that one goal or something to happen for him to really kick on, but he's putting in a shift for the team as well," said Terry.

"Sometimes that doesn't get picked up as much as it should do. You know what it's like for strikers. Mentally he has had to be very strong - and he is. He has got the full support of the fans and the players. It will always remain that way.

"We are eager for him to score goals. He will certainly get the support and the assists from the quality that we have in the side."
