Kostas 1,468
another failed 9gag mock of TorresSometimes I feel like xPetrCechx posts just anything that comes his way.

Bir_CFC 3,455
That 9gag wasn't funny at all. Excuse me, if you're going to publish a joke like that, then it has to be funny, there is absolutely no excuse, none what so ever. It has to be fucking funny.
davemcd 3
I though he looked dangerous at times, that spin and shot was top class. He made quite a few runs that werent picked up and I saw him getting frustrated. All in all, he certainly wasn't the worst on the pitch and I think he even could be classed one of the best wearing blue.
Thistle 77
So he has been in fantastic form and has a poor game, where we were clearly more focused on defending than scoring, and all of the haters are ready to pounce.
tmessy 139
just an off game, still had two or 3 great chances and didnt play well... in fact, no one looked up for this game tbh...still looks 100% a different player...rvp didnt score last week against QPR and i dont hear him getting shit for that?but i DGAF! semis, here we come!!! what matters is that WE (team) won...keep doing your thing Nando... tmessy 139
man oh man, i am getting so frustrated FOR him atm... playing so well recently, that volley should of went in, would of gave him all the confidence in the world... then he would be scoring goals like he did against blackburn a couple years back... he deff. is the spark for our team atm, and deserves to be the main man up top, no wing shit... he puts his balls on the line everytime he steps on the pitch and totally changes the mood of our attack... bravo
petr.breu 1,618
In last few weeks I completely changed my opinion on him... Under AVB he played bad, didn't live with the team, didn't celebrate goals and so on and I wished his exit in the summer... But now, under RdM, he belongs to our best players, makes chances, scored few goals, celebrates with team... So yes, I want him to stay, I start to like him...Fernando Torres, Chelsea's number 9! :cfc:
francozola 2,040
His confidence is still extremely low. The slips, the few times when he ran into defenders and lost the ball..... Can't deny that he was lively, but he still can't reach the final stage of his recovery into the player he was at Liverpool. He only seems to be able to overcome this problem when he's pissed off and chasing a goal after a drought or when he's really motivated (like the first game of the season at stoke)

Steve 10,227
I will back this lad when he has done nothing wrong. At times he reminds me of players that frustrate me by running into defenders without putting his head up. But his slips today are not his fault. The grass was clearly over waters, Mata slipped there and so did Essien. He came on and completely changed the game again. He basically opened up Wigans defense on his own and we made so many chances as soon as he was up forward.
zolayes 14,489
We HAVE to KTF with him ...We need him desperately if we are to improve next season
tmessy 139
Dot know if this is true, didn't look it up but I just read that in the last 15 games Torres has more assists than the whole Liverpool team... HahahaScum

Ollie 4,400
Woulda been sweet if his volley went in, caught it so nicely but at least we scored off it like Sunderland home.

Spike 12,049
More and more I'm realising that Torres has no luck at all.He and Mata sure do hit the post and other players a lot when shooting.

CAREFREEPersonally I disagree with this. A lot of his 'team play' stems from the fact that he was so afraid of taking shots, running at defenders. He's better now, these last few games in terms of confidence but the Torres at Liverpool was a sublime, stunning player. The way he would run and defenders would not know how to control him. He would take one shot and because of the confidence he had, he would score. No thinking twice, etc.He is nowhere near that standard. He has compensated this by improving his all round game, and also because he receives very little support from the midfielders here. It's mainly mata who tries to find him. Our midfielders are abysmal and not a single one of them has the quality to pick out a pass. And it is not true at all that he just scored the goals at Liverpool. He was VERY MUCH involved in their team game too. They just relied on him too much because of that idiot Benitez but he was no way just a goal scorer there. That's a serious serious misconception. He worked hard too, tracked back etc. it's not as if he suddenly developed these 'skills'.So let's not credit him for that because he's always done that. I'm glad he's gaining confidence and as long as he works hard and TRIES, I will support him. For now I'm still very much in doubt over whether he will be good enough to be a striker here.
Peace. 4,351
Anelka would be jalous of him, considering he doesn't get slated off for his "box allergy".
