  1. 1. Rafa Out?

Recommended Posts

At least with the appointment of Jose Mourinho we'd be assured that he will bring in some physicality. There are a couple of powerful midfielders that have caught my eye. But I'm sure Jose's scouting knowledge would far out muscle mine.

Ignacio Camacho of Malaga

Etienne Capoue of Toulouse

Romulo of Spartak Moscow

I want him out, but who are we gonna bring in right away... I can't think of many top quality names that would be available right now... Pep isn't coming in the summer. Jose is unlikely. I would like Klopp or loew tbh but their chance is better in the summer. So I hate to say it but we are probably better off keeping him til the summer then giving ourselves 2 months to find a proper replacement. Rather than finding a bloke to be an interim for 5 months.

I agree that he's not the ideal manager at present. But no manager is going to jump ships at this point in the season (well, no top manager). So we have no choice but to bare with Rafa, hope he gets us qualified for the Champions League, and then find someone in the summer really.

I do hope he does get us to the Champions League next season, because if he doesn't, then it's goodbye Mourinho!

Voted no, because I don't think there's any point this year. We're out of the CL and not going to win the Premier League. Let someone come in the summer, have some say over transfers (I can dream, can't I?) and get a fresh start. That said, I won't exactly be crying if I woke up to find out he had gotten sacked.

funny people think that getting behind telly tubby will solve the problem ;) The problem is that FSW doesn't have a clue w/ tactics. Again, was it necessary to fire RDM? We did see RDM goto Emirates & return 3 point lane to us. Do you really have faith that telly tubby will get it done on Sunday vs. le arse? I don't. It's another fail by the Board. Enjoy the ship of fools my friends. :D

How much longer does this need to go on for.

Its a circus, the owner and board need to look at themselves, theyre the fucking idiots who hire and fire the managers.

A catalogue of errors, for fuck sake sort it out and stop messing with our club.

PS Bookies have this lot for next season

Jose
Klopp
Benitez
Hiddink
Poyet
Simeone
Grant
Moyes

Voted no because it would be a pointless decision. Keep him until the end of the season and bring in a good replacement. Things are great when they are on a high but when they're on a low they're really low and there is no in between The board is continuously fucking things up and not giving the players stability to make something happen with the tactics they are trying to implement.

Lets just hope we can get a win against Arsenal, that will cheer us all up.

However it still wont change my mind, as we are far too inconsistent. We will probably lose the game right after that IF we do manage to beat Arsenal.

I would like to add Gullit, Huddle or even Supa Frank to ride out the storm for the remainder of the season. One thing I will give rafadyce, he sure knows how to create mid-table sides. We saw it @ l'puke. We saw it at Inter, now we are seeing @ CFC. Enjoy the freefall people. Blame the board for this lovely shit sandwich poo.gif

Lol, yeah lets sack the guy who's tactics have had us dominating games for the past month, his job is to put players in positions to create chances it is up to the players to score them.
At last somebody talks a little sense. Yes Rafa as Fulham Broadway has put it, is 'A Spanish cone of fat'. By no means did he get his substitutions neither tactics right last night against Southampton and by no means does he belong here in any way whatsoever.

But

Let's look at our situation in realistic terms here. We can't and I mean can't sack another manager before the season is up. We are a laughing stock of the footballing world as it stands. To sack a second manager in the same season would just be an absolute disaster for this club. I mean it isn't like we aren't already going through a multi car pile up on the road to mayhem. We need to see this out despite the undeniable fact that Rafa isn't and never will be the right man for the job. Let's at least be honest with ourselves here. After sacking the man who spent the most important years of his professional playing career here and then came home to win us the holy grail, getting a manager of Rafa's credibility in such short notice was suitable. He has steadied what was a horrificly unorganized defence and to start with got a shattered Torres scoring goals. I know the one home win from seven is a disgraceful reality that most of you are finding impossible to accept. I understand that being such a passionate Chelsea fan mysef and I know that we all deep in our heart of hearts feel that we as the Champions of Europe should have stormed the Premiership and all other competitive trophies this season with the new additions to our squad. It just hasn't worked out that way. In my honest opinion I feel that Eden Hazard hasn't quite lived up to the hype tjat surrounded his big money move as of yet and Oscar is still young and quite obviously tired from such a long calender year previous to his move here and we are relying heavily on Mata and now one striker in Ba.Now once again with our backs to the wall we as fans and lovers of our club and the game of football need to stand behind the squad and still believe that this season won't end in complete disaster. Funny enough, we normally play our best when we have our backs to the wall but we must forget about calling for the head of Rafa until the season is finished.

P.s. Remind me to never post an essay on my phone again. What a fucking nightmare!

As much i hate Rafa and voted Yes purely for that ... however i dont want the club to sack him till end of the season. because the damage has already been done... Out of Champions league, out of the title race, out of the CWC, almost out of Captiol one, Pep who was one of the fav to come in went the other way..... Sacking Rafa at this point would mean that the team is yet again directionless, new strategy, more player power and importantly confirmation that Chelsea is not the place to come for those remaining few managers who mite give a shot at Chelsea ....
We are already in deep s***, i hope the management doesn't piles it up further ...
