He only knows how to run and run and run. No good passes, No Good Decisions. Just no Brain.

Really? Did you not see when he ran for about 60 yards and took the ball from Quagliarella (I think it was)? He was excellent, won so many balls and was really strong defensively. Saying he has no brain and he just runs is really harsh. He's a really hard worker and deserves credit for that.

Disgraceful. Yes you can say that we are going through a transition period but we've just splashed close to 100 million in the Summer and we have a 50 million pound striker sitting on the bench. This wasn't a result that materialised over the course of 90 minutes in Turin this result can be traced back to the Summer. Most unbiased observers could see that we were light up front, we were banking a huge amount on Torres to come good, it hasn't happened and tonight was the conclussion of that particularly painful experiment. You can't say that Roberto Di Matteo is at fault for the prolonging of the Torres experiment, Abramovich had splashed 50 million pounds on the Spaniard, he wanted value for money. My issue with Di Matteo is that he and his team have been working with Torres now for close to 2 years, they see him on a daily basis in training, they see the same matches we do, anyone can spot that he hasn't been up to it on a consistent basis in a very long time, this is where a top manager with a strong personality, like Guardiola or Mourinho, would have spoken up in the Summer. Perhaps Di Matteo had reservations about Torres but he seemingly applied no pressure on Abramovich, Gourlay or anyone else to seek out a top striker in the Summer, even Mancini at City went public with his disappointment at not being able to sign Van Persie, in comparison our manager was reduced to a yes man. Then we arrive in Turin, the 50 million pound man is worthless, the other striker is injured and not proven at the top level to begin with and we are left playing 5 foot 7 Eden Hazard upfront.

The standard is set high by the top clubs in the world, at no other top club would this have happened. The pressure on Di Matteo is almost now at breaking point, no win in 4 games in the Premier League and pretty much out at the group stage of the Champions League, not good enough for a top club, let alone the European Champions.

Didn't Hulk not do something similar for Brazil a few months back?

Also disappointed. Can see Robbie getting sacked if we don't get out of this slump or qualify for the last 16.

You are forgetting that Shaktar are already through. Do u think they will line up with their strongest team? And Juventus will play for their life.

obviously they will. they would like to top the group. incentive is definitely there.

Didnt deserve to lose 3 -0 and was always going to be hard in that cauldron.

Always going to miss Drogba and there is no spine -a fit Essien, Terry, Lampard and there is no one in charge on the pitch.

That needs to be sorted, and if we're not going for physical prowess then an assassin to gel with Mata, Hazard, Oscar trio along the lines of Falcao, Berbatov, Chicarito.type player is needed.

Kalou would have been good tonight....

oh well the Ropey League final is in ....Amsterdam

Can someone tell me WTF was that starting lineup and Whyyyyyyyy RDM thinks he invented football?

You want to try a new and ridiculous lineup? Try it in the capital one cup or against some weak team...Not in the most important match of the season

The thing is - we all know that Di Matteo was only kept due to our CL and FA Cup win, I don't think he had any say in transfers and who was loaned out.

I think we should give him support and backing till the end of the season provided we keep up with the League Leaders - the next few matches are key for RDM.

we deserved to be spanked by a tennis score if juve had taken all their chances or even 50% of them or if cech had not kept us in the game for this long.

They need at least a draw tho to guarantee top spot and an easier game, might be our saving grace,

Other then that the 3 ejits should of finished of the game on the break, we need a plan B like i always said, when the finesse dosent work put on the physical, team has no leaders either, and why dont they ever play wide. All they have to do is play like they did at the UTD game and we'd beat anyone, so stupid.
