Does the board see what we see?

Sometimes I feel like we are slowly going back into a dip of form, even though we got magicians such as Mata, Hazard and Oscar nowadays I can see signs of it. Or maybe it's not really a dip in form, but there are a few factors that we need to do something about ASAP because it is clearly causing huge issues.

1. This one is quite obvious. Torres has to leave. He never has nor will he ever be the kind of CF we need. He is FAR from good enough to be a starter and someone to count on (ala Drogba) and he is too expensive to bench. The conclusion is simple; he MUST go. Add to the factor that he now has absolute worldclass service by the 3 amigos the conclusion is even easier to see.

2. Sturridge. I dont know what to say here. I cannot understand why he isnt given more chances (more chances actually sound wrong; it feels like he isnt even given an honest chance)? Im not claiming the guy is a Ronaldo or Messi or anything like that, but I am convinced in any way possible that he is better than Torres. And what was done to him tonight; giving him 2 minutes of playtime when we clearly need a win and Torres has been absolute shite... I found that really disrespectful and stuipid. I honestly cannot see whats going on here. It feels like Danny is gonna leave in january but I seriousley cannot understand why, and I fear it will be one of the biggest mistakes in recent Chelsea history to stick with Torres and let Danny go.

3. John Terry is still a must. This game showed that without that strong leadership in the defence in a match like this, things wont go well. I dont feel good about this since Terry wont be around forever. I cannot see anyone replacing him atm, both Luiz and Cahill have the potential to, but they need to step up quickly.

4. Chelsea needs to extend Coles contract, if by 2 years then so be it. Bertrand is talentful, he has potential. I know he wasnt good at all in this game, but he shouldnt be written off just because of this game. But Cole is still one of the best LBs in the world and we clearly need him.

I dont know what the board does or what they see, but they are really starting to worry me. I cannot believe that RDM is this stuipid. I honestly think he has been given strict orders to stick with Torres, and I fear that the risk of RDM being fired is much greater due to this.

I know things arent as easy in real life as they are in FIFA or in our imagination, but this is rather serious. We cannot look this shaky but most importantly so power and threat-less in the CF area.

Yes and they see even more. They get to see the training ground, the team meetings, the tactical briefings, the interactions between players, the player's fitness levels, the players injuries, the player's mental wellbeing, the player's personalities. If I'm missing something, feel free to add to the list.

This is not the "MOMENT " to feel negative FFS ENJOY the MOMENT ....This is what we dreamt of years ago

What is your point here really? What is it that we are doing right now that we dreamt of years ago?

Never mind what the board see, I see another pointless thread tbh. Just discuss the things about Torres and Sturridge in their own thread...

If you dont see the point, then dont bother replying like that. And this isnt just about Torres and/or Sturridge.

A creative attacking mentality, regular Champions League football, challenging for trophies. I may be wrong but I believe that there were Chelsea supporters before 2003 and I think they dreamed of this sort of success.

Excuse me, but if you have been following Chelsea you'd know that we have been creative in the attack, and challenging for trophies for quite some time.

So once again, what is it that we are doing RIGHT NOW that I should be so amazed of to just be quiet and "enjoy" it?

We done that before.

So what if it has been for quite some time? The club wasn't challenging for trophies for an even longer time. Just because it's happening now and has for a handful of years doesn't mean that it wasn't dreamt of in the 106 years the club has been around. You'd be amazed if were watching in the 80s and Chelsea were a couple of points above being relegated to Division Three and a inch away from bank ruptcy. I wasn't around then, but it's quite a turnaround to go from The Bottom of the English Second Divison to Champions of Europe.

The 80s isnt "a couple of years ago" which is the statement that started that discussion and what I reacted to.

Claiming that I should be quiet and enjoy the moment becasue now we are more successfull than in the 80s is just retarded. Everything is relative, you know that dont you?

1) Torres has 7 goals in 17 games this season. That is an average of a goal every 2.4 games which is hardly terrible and he is working hard for the team.

2) Sturridges attitude is appauling which is why he is where he is.

3&4) Are sensible points.

Oh please, what are you actually implying with those statistics? Just tell me, are you claiming that Torres is the man we need for the task or what?

And regarding Sturridge: What do you know about his attitude? I seriousley dont get where people get the idea that he has an attitude issue. PLEASE, tell me,.

The team is winning and scoring lots of goals so he and the team is obviously doing something right. Torres is always marked by at least 2 defenders which is creating space for others.

Regarding Sturridge, I know exactly what goes on because I'm friends with some of the Chelsea legends who still work for the club.

I'm not claiming that you should be quiet, I don't give a fuck what you say or do, that's your business. I'm just saying that others, are in a different position. Besides, the club is more successful now that in any other decade in the clubs history. Maybe save for the 00s, but they were very recent.

If everything is relative than relativity itself is relative. Subjective and objective reality are inclusive.

It's hardly terrible for a striker, I agree with that fully but it's hugely terrible for £50 Million and £180, 000 per week. How much he cost doesn't bother me half as much as he earning.
